For about three (3) weeks now, I have notices an assinine, juvenile, cartoonish sound effect everytime the information bar updates at the bottom of the page. It happens when they change topics and is annoying as hell. I'm a pretty patient guy and I gave it a couple of weeks hoping someone would complain or a producer would catch it, but apparently not. It just seems so unjournalistic and really detracts from what they are supposed to do...report the news.
