During the October 28 airing of CNN’s Newsroom with Carol Costello, gun control proponent Mark Kelly rejected the idea that Hillary Clinton wants to ban certain types of guns and said she simply wants to “[keep] communities and families safe.”

Democratic strategist Paul Harstad called South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham the “best future Republican ally of the [Obama] administration for the next two years.” Harstad, of Harstad Strategic Research, made the appraisal in an email to Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta on June 11, 2014. The correspondence was part of Thursday’s WikiLeaks release of Podesta’s emails. Harstad suggested President Barack Obama call Graham to congratulate him on winning the Republican primary election during his fight for re-election in 2014.

A poll published on Wednesday shows record opposition to gun bans from the American public. The survey, conducted by Gallup, found 76 percent of respondents thought there should not be a law banning civilian ownership of handguns, a four-point increase from last year and an all-time high in the 57 years the question has been asked. The poll also found that 61 percent of respondents are “against” a ban on certain semi-automatic rifles—often referred to as “assault weapons”—, a ten-point increase since the last time the poll was taken and an all-time high since Gallup began asking the question in...

WikiLeaks has provided a treasure trove of inside information on what Hillary Clinton really thinks about important issues such as trade and immigration, but Clinton herself has chosen not to answer questions about the revelations. She has focused instead on criticizing the Russians as the source of the hacks, despite the fact there is no proof of Russian involvement. The emails also shed light on how the Clinton campaign interacts with Wall Street banks, with friendly media, and how it worked to undermine the candidacy of Democratic rival Bernie Sanders with the help of the DNC. WikiLeaks says it has...

“Every vote for [Hillary] Clinton is a rubber stamp for elitist corruption,” says Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein.

Captain Louis Renault, the reluctant toady of the Nazis occupying the French colony Morocco, brilliantly portrayed by Claude Rains in Casablanca, contributed a very useful expression to the English language when he self-righteously claimed to be “shocked, shocked” to see gambling going on here at the smoky, gin-soaked gambling lair in Morocco, just before he is handed his winnings: So the latest entry in the long saga of emasculation and wussification of American males ledgers in the 11-year-old guy-talk palaver between a media type named Billy Bush and a private-citizen entrepreneur with a blond thatch by the name of Donald...

You can elect not to agree with my conclusion, but if this election is stolen from Donald Trump, the utter collapse of America will be almost immediate. If Donald Trump wins (as he certainly should), and if the Lord tarries, the collapse of America will be stalled for perhaps another 15-20 years barring another world war Hillary Clinton and Erebusic neo-cons are committed to starting. Our system of jurisprudence is supposed to protect us from the incestuous camorra guilty of duplicitous machinations; instead the legal system and specifically the federal system works to protect the most egregious criminal offenders ever...

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy is famous for his "You Might Be a Redneck If..." For those of you in the outback who haven't heard Foxworthy's famous routine, here's a sample. You Might Be a Redneck If... 1. You think "loading the dishwasher" means getting your wife drunk. 2. You ever cut your grass and found a car. 3. You own a home that is mobile and five cars that aren't. There are literally hundreds of these gems out there, and the list is growing as his fans add their own lines. Jeff's success was due to his ability to capitalize on...

If you support Donald Trump, you are “irredeemable,” part of a “basket of deplorables.” A “kind” who should never be allowed to rise again. You are a “radical fringe” made up of “racist,” “sexist,” “homophobic,” “Islamophobic,” “anti-Semitic,” “misogynist,” “xenophobic,” “you name it” types. Hillary Clinton paints you as hopeless moral lepers who should be banished to a remote island to live our final days. We are so bad, so evil, that we are no better than “terrorists.” We are “not America.” We are all of these things (and more) according to Hillary Clinton. And anyone who thinks the language she...

........ Donald Trump's outreach to African-Americans is the most significant action of the 2016 campaign so far, especially for its potential longterm implications for our culture. The liberal media and their academic and entertainment industry allies know this and for that reason they will redouble their efforts to portray Trump as a racist. This is not just to defend the pathological liar Hillary--can you imagine the moral cartwheels necessary to support Clinton at this point?--but to defend themselves, to justify the way they have been living their lives for decades, all the "progressive" pronouncements covering up the most comfortable of...

Back in May, recently divorced Congressman Alan Grayson, who was running to be the Democrat candidate for the US Senate in Florida, married Dena Minning, one of the candidates running for his Congressional seat. She immediately changed her last name to capitalize on his name recognition. On Tuesday night both were crushed. Alan Grayson came in a distant second in a five-man race with only 18% of the total votes cast. Dena Minning Grayson came in third in her race with almost 28% of the vote.

On Monday, WMUR released an interview segment with each Democrat running in the gubernatorial primary discussing gun control. As painful as it may seem to sit through interview after interview with any politicians, it’s important to understand what these men are saying and what they actually mean. All three Democrats for Governor – Colin Van Ostern, Mark Connolly and Steve Marchand – are for gun control yet claim to be supporters of the 2nd Amendment. Political Buzz breaks down their statements with facts.

But today, here in this community college devoted to opening minds and creating a great understanding of the world in which we live, I want to address something that I am hearing about from Americans all over our country. Everywhere I go, people tell me how concerned they are by the divisive rhetoric coming from my opponent in this election. I understand that concern because it’s like nothing we’ve heard before from a nominee for president of the United States from one of our two major parties. From the start, Donald Trump has built his campaign on prejudice and paranoia....

The Supreme Court – it’s no secret – is at stake in the 2016 election. But legal experts say the impact will be far more sweeping if Hillary Clinton wins in the fall, and is able to fill the seat of the late Justice Antonin Scalia with a left-leaning judge. That point was only underscored at last week’s Democratic convention, where the Democratic presidential nominee pushed for changes on everything from campaign finance to gun rights, at times citing the court’s role. Here’s a closer look at what’s at stake, with many of these issues likely to come before the...

Despite the spate of mass shootings and police murders that roiled rhetoric from Democrats, both sides of the debate agree that guns will not play an influential role in the November elections, Fred Varney of the American Media Institute wrote for the Washington Examiner. Voters don't care. "I don't see any evidence that important Senate races are going to be decided on guns this year, even after Orlando," Wes Anderson of the National Rifle Association told American Media Institute. Further, according to a Quinnipiac University poll conducted in late June, mere weeks after the massacre at an Orlando nightclub, 54...

Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell (D) tells a gathering of activists in Philadelphia it’s time for Democrats to be “single issue” voters for gun control. The gathering was co-hosted by the PA SAFE Caucus, “Everytown for Gun Safety, American State Legislators for Gun Violence Prevention, CeaseFirePA,” and Gabby Giffords’s gun control group, Americans for Responsible Solutions. According to Daily Local News, Rendell said, “If we’re going to make progress, the message we have to take is that we’re going to be single-issue voters. I don’t care about e-mails or anything else, (but) we need to vote for Hillary Clinton because...

In the wake of the Orlando attack, gun sales are spiking across the country. Hunter’s Warehouse, a Pennsylvania-based online gun store, has sold 30,000 AR-15 rifles since the shooting. In Oklahoma, gun sales have spiked due to security concerns, with locals buying firearms to protect themselves and their families (via The Oklahoman):

A new study from the Public Policy Institute of California estimates that, if executed successfully, the state's new motor voter law could add more than 2 million new voters to the rolls in its first year of implementation. The new law, slated to take effect next year, is supposed to streamline the way citizens register to vote at Department of Motor Vehicles offices. Once fully implemented, drivers applying for or renewing licenses and completing other DMV transactions will have their information electronically transmitted to the secretary of State, as long as they've confirmed they're eligible to vote and don't opt...
