The Biden administration this week signaled that it is eyeing a United Nations small arms treaty that critics claim will lead to an international gun registration plan — including for individual American gun owners. Two years after former President Donald Trump withdrew from it, a top arms diplomat at the State Department told the global body that the current administration is swinging behind the Arms Trade Treaty. “I have come from Washington, D.C., this week to take the floor on the agenda item Treaty Universalization to underscore the continuing commitment of the United States to responsible international trade in conventional...

David Chipman, Joe Biden’s choice to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, is in danger of not being confirmed in the Senate thanks to his work with an anti-Second Amendment group and his withholding of vital information during confirmation hearing. Several moderate Democratic senators, including Angus King of Maine and Jon Tester of Montana, don’t believe that Chipman can work with the gun industry. Other Democrats like Senators Joe Manchin question his veracity after Chipman withheld the fact that he made an appearance on Chinese state-run propaganda outlet that was used by the Communists to explain away...

Missouri Governor Mike Parson (R) announced that he had pardoned 12 people, including Mark and Patricia McCloskey, who pled guilty to firearms charges following an incident in front of their home during last summer’s violent protests after the death of George Floyd. The McCloskeys outraged black activists and Democratic radicals when they appeared on the front lawn of their house on June 28, 2020, in a viral video brandishing their weapons at protestors. With so much interest in concealed carry these days, it’s time for me to put the spotlight on the Beretta 9mm Nano. You may be well-familiar with several larger everyday carry 9mm pistols. However, the unique miniature size of a pocket pistol brings a new set of ideas and challenges to the table.

Editor's Note: This column was co-authored by Lori Roman.Gun rights are the linchpin protecting citizens from the loss of all rights. Now, President Joe Biden and Speaker Nancy Pelosi are advancing a gun grab. Modern history provides troubling proof that loss of liberty is preceded by the disarmament of citizens. This week, the most obvious example is right before our eyes as we watch the Cuban people pleading for freedom. Fidel Castro took control of Cuba in 1959 and immediately called for removing all guns from citizens. His new communist regime sent agents door to door to coerce citizens into...

Much has been said about racism and the Second Amendment since Carol Anderson published her new book, The Second: Race and Guns in a Fatally Unequal America. Unfortunately, much of what has been said is false. Commentators including CNN, NPR, Democracy Now!, and the ACLU, just to name a few, have all interviewed Ms. Anderson and hyped her theory that the Second Amendment has its roots in racism, "anti-Blackness", and oppression. Few journalists seem to be approaching the "racist Second Amendment" narrative with a healthy dose of philosophic doubt, nor do they seem interested in questioning the accuracy and validity...

Even as President Joe Biden has called for additional gun control measures, lawmakers across the country have continued to pass so-called Second Amendment sanctuary laws or resolutions, which oppose and even prohibit or impede the enforcement of certain gun measures by the state or federal government. Proponents of “sanctuary” laws argue that many gun control resolutions are in fact a violation of the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. Carroll County, Maryland became the first to explicitly use the term “sanctuary” in a resolution in May 2013, but it actually began a few years earlier...

President Joe Biden has been quick to tell reporters that he loves his shotguns, and as such tries to present himself as a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. However, everything else that Biden has said about firearms seems to be completely contradictory. Since taking office, he has repeatedly called for new gun control measures.
