"Even the firearms that are used by people who protect members of Congress could be deemed unlawful under some of the bills introduced by Democrats."

As Democrats continue to call on President Trump to put forward sweeping gun control legislation, the commander in chief said his administration will do nothing to hurt the Second Amendment, during an exclusive interview Thursday with Fox News' Ed Henry at the southern border. Henry asked Trump if he would "stand up" to the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the president said he would, so long as constitutional gun rights are not infringed upon. "I am [going to stand up to the NRA] if it's not going to hurt a good, solid great American citizen from keeping his weapon because...

There has been a lot of talk about whether our law enforcement (and our military) would follow the orders of those like that furry fascist Beto to unleash a reign of terror upon innocent American citizens who the liberal elite’s unconstitutional gun decrees would turn into felons. Most of our heroic cops and warriors would hold true to their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. But some pathetic worms would willingly, even eagerly betray their oaths and make war upon their own people. They need to know there will...

We wanted to find out what appeals to Donald Trump’s supporters and why they believe he deserves another term. The economy, the judges and a get-the-job-done attitude is just part of it. Here are their stories. BOSTON — His critics call him dangerous, unhinged and unstable, and 10 leading Democrat contenders and three Republican challengers would like to replace him. But less than five months from the Iowa caucuses, President Donald Trump enjoys the support of a solid majority of Republicans, and they have sound reasons to stick with their man despite the furor that continually surrounds him. According to...

I live in exactly the right location to see the outcome of a grand experiment. The pilot Walmart Supercenter is located in Dallas, Georgia. So am I. On Friday the 13th, the CEO of Walmart cut the ribbon at the grand opening. Sadly, I only learned about this grand opening on the morning of September 14. There had been no publicity while the store was being remodeled over the last 12 months. So, what you are about to read is based on original research conducted on the cheap on the afternoon of September 14. 1. A Right-Hand Turn My house...

Stop being so transparent about your desire to confiscate guns, Beto. All you do is help the Republicans. That was the concern of CNN's Chris Cillizza on Friday in "Beto O'Rourke just did Republicans a massive favor on guns." According to Cillizza, O'Rourke by announcing that he wants gun confiscation, is validating what conservatives have been claiming has been the true goal of Democrats and the left. This has Cillizza frustrated especially when looking at the 2020 election and how it provides ammunition (pun intended) to the Republicans about the ultimate goal of Democrats.

Mass media perpetuates mass murder, critics claim, first by calling it “shooting” which is a sport, instead of “murder” which is a crime, deceptively framing the problem and displacing the blame. Then media promotes these crimes incessantly, sometimes for weeks, because they’re used to attract “viewers,” a euphemism for money. “If it bleeds it leads,” is the reprehensible unethical mantra and behavior. By providing “the oxygen of publicity,” as Margaret Thatcher called it, media encourages copycats, which the murderers themselves tell us they seek. Doesn’t that imply at least some measure of complicity or guilt? Psychiatrists and law enforcement beg...

The Democrat Party is holding a vote to censure Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema because they perceive her moderate stances and voting habits as too friendly towards President Donald Trump. The liberal senator is by no means a closet Republican, in fact, she has opposed Trump 81 percent of the time — but that is not good enough for her far-left party peers. “Here’s the thing: We really support Kyrsten Sinema, we want her to succeed, we want her to be the best senator in the country,” Dan O’Neal, state coordinator for Progressive Democrats of America, told the Arizona Republic. “But...

In our political debates over gun policies, those who favor increased regulations and restrictions on firearms often claim that they're only asking for widely-supported, modest changes in the law. We're not coming for your guns, they promise; we're only looking to make a few 'common sense' alterations to the status quo. They cite polling that favors their position, and they ridicule as paranoid those Second Amendment supporters who warn about a so-called slippery slope. But emboldened leftist Democrats have been vindicating many conservatives' worst fears in recent days, with two answers at last Thursday's presidential debate standing out on this...

On Wednesday Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) addressed Robert “Beto” O’Rourke’s confiscatory push on AR-15s and made clear, “[He’s] not taking my guns away from me.” Manchin then asked for someone to deliver that message to O’Rourke. Breitbart News reported that O’Rourke used the September 12, Democrat debate to tell AR-15 owners, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.” Breitbart News reported that O’Rourke’s declaration was a game-changer which showed the Democrats’ intention to seize guns.

(Video at Source) Former congressman Beto O'Rourke doubled down on his controversial stance on gun control, declaring on Wednesday night he is in favor of gun confiscation in certain circumstances. Appearing on "Cuomo Prime Time," O'Rourke was asked point-blank if he was in favor of "gun confiscation." "Yes," O'Rourke firmly responded, "when it comes to AR-15s and AK-47s, weapons designed for use on a military battlefield, the high-impact, high-velocity round that is fired from those weapons. When it comes to those weapons... the answer is yes." The former Democratic lawmaker warned CNN anchor Chris Cuomo not to fall for the...

(Video at Source) Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline,” host Nicolle Wallace and her panel discussed a new public service announcement from Sandy Hook Promise, a nonprofit founded by the parents of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook shootings. Wallace said, “Here’s the deal that’s not an ad that’s life for those kids. And you talk to people in the mental health universe childhood and pediatric anxiety is through the roof.” She continued, “If you’re going to say I’m not taking the guns off the streets, I’m not taking the guns from the people who have no —a mass shooter doesn’t have...

Carol Manstrom says she lost her 18-year-old son when he grabbed his father’s unsecured pistol and shot himself. Paul Kemp lost his brother-in-law when a man opened fire with a stolen AR-15 assault-style rifle at a shopping mall. On Wednesday, Manstrom and Kemp helped deliver 2,000 signatures to Oregon’s elections office as part of an effort to get a measure on the 2020 ballot that would create the stiffest law in America requiring the safe storage of firearms. The initiative would require guns to be secured with a trigger or cable lock, or in a locked container. It also mandates...

TheHill.com Prospects for Trump gun deal grow dimmer BY ALEXANDER BOLTON - 09/16/19 06:54 PM EDT Prospects for a bipartisan deal on gun control legislation have dimmed significantly as President Trump and Democratic leaders appear to be far apart on the key issue of expanding background checks. Republicans expect Trump to put forward a proposal addressing gun violence later this week, but Democrats predict it is likely to fall far short of what is needed and that they may not vote for it. Democrats are pressing Trump to agree to a gun control bill already approved by the House, but...

Prospects for a bipartisan deal on gun control legislation have dimmed significantly as President Trump and Democratic leaders appear to be far apart on the key issue of expanding background checks. Republicans expect Trump to put forward a proposal addressing gun violence later this week, but Democrats predict it is likely to fall far short of what is needed and that they may not vote for it. Democrats are pressing Trump to agree to a gun control bill already approved by the House, but the president has yet to even signal support for a scaled-down background check bill sponsored by...

President Donald Trump will not consider the House-passed universal background checks bill as part of his proposed gun package, according to a source familiar with the conversation on guns. Trump’s position on the House-passed bill is not exactly a surprise. The White House issued a veto threat against the bill in February. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) have called on Trump repeatedly to bring up the House-passed universal background checks bill. Over the weekend, Pelosi and Schumer issued a statement following a phone call with Trump that anything other than the House-passed bill...

LOS ANGELES - A longtime assistant Los Angeles city attorney killed himself last week after gunning down his wife and 19-year-old son, police officials said. Authorities were alerted to the killings when Eric Lertzman's daughter, 25, fled to a neighbor's house after escaping through a bathroom window, according to an LAPD news release. The dead include Lertzman, 60; his wife, Sandra Lertzman, also 60; and their 19-year-old son Michael Lertzman. The daughter's identity was not revealed by police, but Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer identified her as Rachel Lertzman. Sandy Lertzman's sister, Cindy Stern, wrote on Facebook of the...

Beto O’Rourke, a Texas Democrat and presidential hopeful, recently made the comment, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.” O’rourke declared this striking, new campaign promise of a mandatory gun buy-back during an impassioned plea made at the last Democratic presidential debate. O’rourke was asked by the debate moderator what he would do about gun control if elected President. The only problem with the congressman’s promise is that it’ll never happen. Here’s why: Most Americans Won’t ComplyA simple truth provides a rather large hurdle for Mr. O’rourke’s ambitions: Many Americans simply don’t like the government telling them...

A handful of Texas supporters of President Donald Trump and the Second Amendment welcomed Beto O’Rourke at a rally in Texas with ‘Come and Take it’ flags. Video footage of the event from Fox 4 showed one Trump supporter with a rifle slung over his back holding a, “Hell no you will not take my AR-15” sign. Other supporters held a Trump sign, a Texas flag with an AR-15 on it and a classic Texas white “Come and Take it” flag. “We are going to buy back every single one of those weapons,” O’Rourke said at the rally as supporters...
