Many of the woke politicians who have pushed for student-loan cancellation are themselves hip-deep in school debt ... Most members of “The Squad” — the coterie of socialist legislators led by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) — fall into this category. Ocasio-Cortez had a balance of between $15,001 and $50,000 in federal student loans as of 2020, according to her most recent personal financial disclosure. The number of illegals seeking asylum to gain easy access to the United States has jumped 900 percent in less than 10 years, greatly expanding the Immigration population receiving Social Security, school loans, green cards, welfare and other taxpayer funded services, according to figures from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. While about 8,000 mostly Latin Americans in 2009 sought asylum, the number is expected to reach 80,000 or more this year, according to a projection from the Center for Immigration Studies.

As tuition increases, even at public universities, undergraduate students are being forced to work their way through college -- and then work off the rest after they leave. Debt is slowly bypassing class, social life and alcohol on the priority lists of most undergraduate students. Suspicions of an increasingly difficult financial burden on...
