How Attorney General William Barr may yet unleash the power of the Justice Department has House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff unnerved. The California Democrat invoked U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting a criminal inquiry of the federal Russia investigation, as he discussed his dread that "more serious abuse" of federal law enforcement will happen in the coming days. "One of the concerns I have with Bill Barr is that the worst is yet to come. I mean, he's got a terrible, destructive track record as it is, and it may get worse in the coming days," Schiff said...

A new report raises serious questions regarding what House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff knew about bounties allegedly paid by Russia to Taliban-linked terrorists for killing American soldiers, and when he knew it. Sources told the outlet that top committee staff for Schiff were briefed all the way back in February on intelligence about a Russian military intelligence unit covertly offering the bounties to militants. But the California Democrat “took no action in response,” the outlet reported, citing those sources. What has surfaced is an allegation that Schiff did exactly what he is accusing Trump of doing right now...

With polls showing a double-digit lead for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden over President Donald Trump, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif) announced that he will move to Canada if Trump wins in November. Schiff's staff were reportedly dismayed by this announcement. In an off-the-record comment, staff member Patrick Boland observed that "as hated as Schiff is among Trump's base of deplorables, the chance that they might get him to leave will undoubtedly energize them. We don't think it will be enough to overcome Biden's big lead, but stranger things have happened. Adam's word doesn't count for much with...

“We do need, I think, to expose the length and breadth of this president’s depravity and how much it is endangering the country. So those facts are going to need to come out, and we are discussing with the speaker and my fellow chairs just how to do that,” Mr. Schiff said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I don’t think we should wait [until November] if we conclude that there are important things that he says that need to be exposed to the public. The public needs to know exactly what they have in this president,” he added.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., withdrew his endorsement of Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey, who is seeking a third term in office. Schiff had initially thrown his support behind Lacey last year, but the incumbent DA now faces a progressive challenger during a time when law enforcement is facing criticism across the country. "This is a rare time in our nation's history. We have a responsibility to make profound changes to end systemic racism & reform criminal justice," Schiff tweeted Saturday, adding that he and California Assemblymember Laura Friedman "no longer feel our endorsement of Jackie Lacey a year ago...

Protesters in Golden Gate Park toppled statues of Fr. Junipero Serra, Francis Scott Key and President Ulysses S. Grant on Friday night, spurring a national debate over the complex legacies of those historical figures amid a broader movement to remove what critics say are monuments to white supremacy. A group of roughly 100 people pulled down the monuments displayed in the park’s Music Concourse near the de Young Museum and California Academy of Sciences, an eyewitness said. Police were called to the area just after 8 p.m., and said people in the group threw objects at the officers. The crowd...

Ed Buck’s Laurel Avenue apartment apparently is still empty and on the market. But his cell at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown Los Angeles will remain occupied for longer than originally anticipated. That’s because the date of Buck’s trial on two federal charges of providing drugs resulting in death of two black men and three counts of distributing methamphetamine to young black men, once scheduled for Nov. 26, 2019, then moved to Aug. 4 of this year now has been postponed to Jan. 19, 2021. Buck, 65, is a white gay man known for his donations to Democratic...

As protests against police brutality spread across the country, President Trump looked impotent, unable to offer anything reassuring and tweeting angrily from inside a White House under siege. But Trump has hit on a solution: designate “antifa” a terrorist organization, to make it look as if the protests have been taken over by radical terrorists, and to create the impression that he’s getting fearsomely tough in response. In an interview with us, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) told us that the designation itself, which has no legal basis, appears to be a “characteristically political act." Schiff, the chair of the House...

Richard Grenell has declassified a new batch of Russia probe documents on his way out as acting director of national intelligence, leaving the decision on whether to make those files public up to newly sworn-in Director John Ratcliffe. The documents include transcripts of phone calls that then-incoming National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak had in December 2016, during the presidential transition period. Grenell said publicly last week that he was in the process of declassifying those files, after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., asked that he do so. Fox News has learned that the...

Within minutes after the phone lines opened, people reported they could not get through, by 10 a.m., an hour after it opened, many of the 'phone lines crashed'. The State of California is offering $500 each to illegal aliens as part of a $75 million coronavirus relief program — even as it asks federal taxpayers for help paying for its $54 billion deficit. The governor, Gavin Newsom, announced in mid-April that the state would provide $75 million in cash assistance to the 150,000 who are selected. Philanthropic organizations and private donors pledged an additional $50 million, for another 100,000 immigrants.

Rep. Adam Schiff said the Wall Street Journal editorial board, which has been heavily critical of his work as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has "no credibility." The California Democrat told the Daily Beast in a podcast last week that the Wall Street Journal has become a "Trumpist" newspaper when asked to respond to an editorial that urged people to not trust him anymore because of how he "spread falsehoods shamelessly" for three years with his repeated claims of there being evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi expressed support for Los Angeles’s extension of stay-at-home orders for three more months and downplayed it as “inconvenient.” “Well, of course, I agree with the decisions of the people on the ground in their particular venue and location,” the California Democrat said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe when asked about the news that Los Angeles would remain closed for three more months. “Because again, as Dr. Fauci said earlier, and I wish the president would listen to him, or hear him even, that you just cannot pretend it went away and go out there. So, yes, it’s...

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich advised President Trump on Wednesday to “cut off” ties with the House Intelligence Committee since the chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff, is a “proven liar” about Russian collusion. “We now have documented evidence that, for three years, this guy deliberately and maliciously lied. Why would you cooperate with an Intelligence Committee chairman who is a clear proven liar?” Gingrich told “America’s Newsroom.” “I think the president should just cut him off and say, ‘If you want to give me an Intelligence Committee that I can trust, I’ll work with them, but, this guy is impossible.” He...

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff played “magician” by claiming there was Russian collusion without clear evidence, and the media helped push the narrative for three years, journalist and author Lee Smith argued on Tuesday. “The press played magician’s assistant, helping Schiff obscure what was going on for three years,” the author of "The Plot Against President Trump" told “Fox & Friends.” Smith said it was "sad" that Schiff’s Russia collusion narrative was pushed so heavily by the media. He also said that while a lot of “very important press institutions hold the same name, they no longer serve the...

Adam Schiff said there is an abundance of evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 presidential election. In an interview with MSNBC's Kasie Hunt and Sunday, Schiff said Trump's "attempt to rewrite history is a full-scale assault on the rule of law." "Don Jr. accepted, he set up a secret meeting at the Trump Tower to get the dirt," Schiff said. "The president's son-in-law was there, the campaign chairman was there. And what's more, the campaign chairman in a different vignette gave internal polling data to someone linked to Russian intelligence. You had other...

This occurred to me when a guy called in to Lars Radio Show about a person on Schiff's staff had access to this file on Flynn (former Intel gal). He was thinking that she (the person on his staff) leaked it, but I thought about how cozy Schiff is with the press and know if she told him about it he would leak it without thinking of the consequences. I don't think there is immunity if this is the case, would explain his bald face lies and facial mask of desperation all the time.

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy accused reporters from CNN, Politico and The New York Times on Sunday of helping House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff “peddle” the now-debunked conspiracy theory of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government. Gowdy was asked in an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to identify reporters he believed took leaks from Schiff for stories related to the Intelligence panel’s Russia investigation. “Well, I hope you have a three hour show,” Gowdy quipped.

...But as investigative whiz Undercover Huber revealed, it looks like there’s more. Huber takes deep dives into things like the transcripts. With an understanding of the history and great discernment, he’s able to pick up a lot that others may not... [W]hyhas the Priestap transcript not been revealed, Adam Schiff? If he’s holding onto that even after being forced to release all the others, you know it has to be really good.

Rep. Adam Schiff has been squealing a lot lately, bellyaching about the Justice Department dropping the case against Michael Flynn and, miraculously, standing by those House Intelligence Committee interview transcripts, insisting to this day they “richly detail evidence of the Trump campaign’s efforts to invite, make use of, and cover up Russia’s help in the 2016 presidential election,” when even James Clapper said he saw no direct empirical evidence of the sort.Bloomberg Opinion’s Eli Lake has been reading through the transcripts and says it’s obvious why the Republicans on the Intelligence Committee called for Schiff to step down as chairman.
