According to Joe Williams, the senior White House reporter for Politico, Rush Limbaugh is like the "serial murderer" who was caught with "three bodies in the trunk." The veteran journalist made the outrageous comparison on Tuesday's Martin Bashir show, a program that included other liberal smears against the conservative radio host. Before making his offensive connection, Williams highlighted his background covering the police. Regarding Limbaugh's comments about Sandra Fluke, the journalist linked: "... [Law enforcement] always would catch the serial murder because he was driving around with a busted taillight, not because he had, like, three bodies in the trunk."...

It has been one week since Rush Limbaugh first called Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute," but the controversy shows no sign of dying down. Now University of Rochester economist and former Slate blogger Steven Landsburg has jumped to Limbaugh's defense. Critics of conservative host Rush Limbaugh are making a push to get him taken off Armed Forces Radio. A petition on the White House's website requests that Limbaugh's show no longer be aired on the armed forces network, which reaches U.S. troops overseas. As of 7:30 tonight, more than 10,500 people had signed the petition, which was posted to the site Sunday. Limbaugh last week attacked Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke after she testified before Congress in favor of a requirement backed by the Obama administration to require health insurance companies to provide contraception coverage. Limbaugh has since apologized.

Furious Democrat activists are working to silence Rush Limbaugh for good, calling on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to pull his radio show off the air. An activist on signon.org is collecting signatures in support of a petition to FCC to, "remove Mr. Limbaugh from the radio as he has violated FCC rules and regulations countless times. The most recent incident being his assault on women and his degradation of Sandra Fluke." The petition is circulating on Facebook and Twitter and on Democrat message boards. It is not bad enough that he provides partisan blather, that he demeans our President. He has regularly demeaned women. His remarks this week were well beyond the pale of what should be broadcast to our military and their families, supported with our tax dollars. We have a moral objection to our tax dollars being used for such a purpose. You should move immediately to cancel any further broadcast through government facilities of his venom. There is no excuse for the US Government, in any capacity, giving this man an audience.
