Dire Straits - Skateaway 1980 RIP Jayzik Azikiwe(Rollergirl). Watching the pre-MTV "Skateaway" video I was wondering who the young lady roller-skater was. Looking it up she is credited as Jay Carly, but real name Jayzik Azikiwe. She died early this year with little or no notice by the press. Certainly none I saw. Looking at her obit she left London years ago to return to Africa. Daughter of an early president of Nigeria, she spent her life as a successful artist and musician in Africa.
