Have noticed now twice on video of Tim Walz with the "nominee" in public events-- giving the palms together raised gesture normally seen perhaps in India at a Hindu event or a jazz show-- the "Namaste". He purports to be a Presbyterian "christian" at a congregation that has guidebook indicating that God should not be referred to as "Him" (something Athiests relegate to "he must never be capitalized"- yes that petty). Check it out- and spread it around. We are not a COMMUNE- we are the United States of America. We are not a non-sovereign nation, we are not a...

What recommendations would you like to suggest to the Trump campaign? Any political movement probably has to be more representative of its voters than than the candidate themselves, so I will always disagree with the dingbats who act as though it's arrogant to ask a campaign to change tactics or focus on an issue. We have the right- they are running to be our representative!! Should the Trump campaign change tactics? Focus on an issue you aren't hearing enough about? Are there any critiques you would make? Is the campaigning vigorous enough? How does their ground game seem to you?...

Denver Broncos linebacker and member of the legendary “Orange Crush,” Randy Gradishar, was recently inducted into the National Football League Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2024. Gradishar’s impressive career includes being named the 1978 Defensive Player of the Year, making seven trips to the Pro Bowl, being named a two-time First Team All-Pro, and being the Broncos’ all-time leading tackler. But when Gradishar thanked his longtime friend and two-time Heisman Trophy winner, it was for more than what happened on the field. Gradishar thanked Griffin for inviting him to a meeting of a campus Fellowship of...

I’ve now been in full time ministry work with Wisconsin Christian News for over 25 years. For over 25 years, I’ve been sounding the alarm and doing my best to send out “wake up calls” to Christians, who see the evil in our land, but feel powerless to do anything about it, because they’ve never been trained for the work of the ministry. They’ve never been asked to do anything, other than greet people at the door, hand out programs, pass the collection plate or work in the nursery — all within the four walls of their own churches. Others...

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” [He said,] “you heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” [Acts 1:4-5 NASB95]

“Christians should stand up.” By simply making that assertion on social media, police—accompanied by a head shrink—“visited” and questioned a man in his home in Australia (video here). The man had made that assertion on social media following the stabbing of an Orthodox bishop by a Muslim inside a Sydney church. As the man can be heard questioning the police, This is religious discrimination, right now, you know? Because you wouldn’t be knocking on Muslims’ doors if they had this conversation—so I already know why you’re here. This is religious discrimination.

In the aftermath of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump on July 13, a video with images of Jesus crowned with thorns, blood running down his face, followed by photos of the former president circulated on social media. Days later, at the Republican National Convention, the evangelist Franklin Graham endorsed Mr. Trump from the stage, saying that “God spared his life.”But the idea of Mr. Trump as chosen by God has infuriated those evangelicals who believe that he stands in direct opposition to their faith. Their existence highlights an often-overlooked fact about the American religious landscape: Evangelicals are not a...

I miss my father-in-law. He passed away in December of 2020, but he didn’t have to. I want to tell you what happened, but first, let me tell you about Bob. That was his name. Bob had been somewhat hostile toward Christianity for most of the time I had known him. He’d have nothing to do with church or the things of God, and then, when I went into full time ministry in April of 2000, he thought I’d lost my mind…and I’m pretty sure I lost any amount of respect he might have had for me.

When you don't know what to pray for, or you feel too overwhelmed to ask...Years ago, a Christian radio station had a suggestion about how to pray when you don’t know what to pray for. They said ‘just say the name of the Lord, Jesus, over and over again. He knows what you need.’Frankly I didn’t like the idea at first; I kind of rebelled when our pastor once said something similar (e.g., power in His name, monks would whisper His name while sweeping the floor or performing other mundane tasks). I didn’t like it because it sounded rote, or...

The Last Supper — Leonardo Da Vinci — Photo by: (www.wikipedia.org) ================================================================================ The Last Supper (Il cenacolo) is the famous fresco that Leonardo da Vinci painted between 1495 and 1497. If you go to Milan, you will surely go to the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie to see and enjoy this magnificent work. I want to share with you and investigate the way in which Leonardo chose the models for his works and explain the curious story of Jesus and Judas from da Vinci’s Last Supper. Leonardo took quite a long while to pick the models for his...

On a sweltering July afternoon in 1924, Eric Liddell walked onto the track in a Paris stadium carrying a trowel. Pinned to the front of his short-sleeved shirt was a piece of cloth bearing the number 451. When Liddell reached the track, he bent down and dug two small holes in the center of lane 6.Then he walked up to each of the other five competitors in the 400-meter dash final and shook their hands.Moments earlier, one of the British team’s masseurs had handed a note to the 22-year-old Scottish runner: “In the old book, it says, ‘He that honors...

The official video of the Paris 2024 opening ceremony appears to have been deleted from the Olympics account as viewers' backlash grows - with fans flocking to praise the London 2012 showcase, which remains online. Social media users shared a screenshot of the organisation's footage, which showed a blank screen with the caption 'this video is not available'. Meanwhile, the show also does not appear to be on their YouTube channel - despite there being coverage of the games both before and after the ceremony. And full-length versions of the ceremonies for London 2012, Rio 2016, Beijing 2022 and even...

So arrogant Hezbollah is embarrassed. In its deadliest attack on Israel since Oct 7, it actually killed Arab kids... at a soccer field, Majdal Shams - 07.27.24. Last time a Druze's (Tiran Fero) body was snatched (Nov 23, 2022) by "palestinian" Arab terrorists, they spoke in their own language and kidnapped a few palestine Arabs and threatened, and it worked. Besides, the Hezbollah don't want a Druze rebellion in Syria... Meantime their bosses in Iran try to use their media (and paid Grayzone", "intercept", the infamous hate site (even WaPo defined it as such already years ago: "Mondoweiss") and other...

Today, people caught with hard drugs (including heroin, fentanyl, LSD, and methamphetamine) should receive a $100 citation—max. But they can even have that waived if they call a toll-free number for a health assessment that can connect them to treatment and other services. Over 95 percent of people ignore the citations altogether. It didn’t take the police long to figure out writing them was a waste of time. They mostly gave up, which meant addicts were free to use narcotics openly, and they do.Timothy Desper works at the Portland Rescue Mission, a Christian nonprofit that helps people struggling with hunger,...

While the term “Christian” is widely used today to describe followers of Jesus Christ, it is unclear whether the early Christians actually used this term to describe themselves. The word “Christian” only appears three times in the New Testament, and in each instance, it is used by non-Christians to refer to the followers of Jesus.
