Tatjana Patitz, a Vogue model who appeared on dozens of fashion magazine covers in her 40-year career after skyrocketing to fame in the ’80s and ’90s, has died. She was 56. While the cause of death has not been revealed, Vogue confirmed that the model died recently. The iconic supermodel was most known for her work in Vogue and also starred in George Michael’s “Freedom! ’90” music video alongside fellow models Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday said that Iran has recently accelerated its nuclear program as it appeared to sense a reduction in international pressure, Israel Radio reported. Speaking to European Union ambassadors to Israel, Netanyahu also commented on the recent violent escalation that broke out along Israel's border with Gaza in the past week, telling them that Hamas deliberately fired a missile at a school bus that was hit last Thursday. No country, the prime minister continued, can accept such actions and Israel will act to protect its citizens.

Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, a hip hop singer with the group TLC who died last week was involved in another accident almost three weeks ago in which a 10 year old boy was run over and killed according to the Honduran newspaper Le Prensa.Lopes 30, was killed instantly Thursday night near Jutiapa, about 10 miles west of La Ceiba on Honduras northern Atlantic coast, when the rented Mitsubishi she was driving rolled over.Her body was returned to her hometown of Atlanta on Sunday.
