The jury in the E. Jean Carroll v. Trump case ruled on Tuesday afternoon that former President Trump is liable for sexual abuse and defamation charges. While Trump announced ahead of a verdict he planned to appeal the decision, Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley unpacked the case on "The Story" and weighed the "biggest problem" the president faces in an appeal. JONATHAN TURLEY : That dog won't hunt. If that's the argument on appeal, then it's going to be a rather quick appeal. There are other issues here that he might appeal on. We all have read about Hillary's legal defense of the accused child rapist and her callous interview about the case. As I saw yet another article about it today, I realized that year in which the rapist died, 1992, was the year in which Bill Clinton was running for his first term as President and conservatives' attention was drawn to the number and nature of deaths of those people who could have said things to compromise his campaign. Does anyone know how this rapist died in 1992? Was there anything mysterious or untoward about his death?

Friday, June 20, 2014 Friday Afternoon Roundup - The Innocence of Hillary Posted by Daniel Greenfield @ the Sultan Knish blog THE MEANING OF 'IS' In “Hard Choices,” Hillary claims that there were “scores of attackers that night, almost certainly with differing motives. It is inaccurate to state that every single one of them was influenced by this hateful video. It is equally inaccurate to state that none of them were.” Since it’s impossible to disprove a negative, it would be equally inaccurate to state that none of the attackers were influenced by a frustrated passion for Hillary Clinton. Since...

According to the letter, Nifong felt he had to step down after being served an ethics complaint by the North Carolina State Bar, charging him with violations of professional conduct. The charges, filed Dec. 28, accuse Nifong of making improper and potentially prejudicial comments...
