Russia says it has withdrawn more troops from its breakaway Chechen republic. More than 700 soldiers and 10 pieces of military equipment left a base near the Chechen capital, Grozny, on Monday. Russian officials have said the situation is stabilizing in Chechnya, allowing for the removal of some Russian soldiers and military hardware.
