Free Republic

You folks would consider me a liberal, and I am not embarrassed at the label. I certainly believe in a safety net for society and helping minorites who otherwise would not be given opportunities. I had heard about FreeRepublic and expected this site to be a sinister plotting device for crazed right wing freaks. It's really not that at all. It is mostly a chatty mix of simplicities and Bush hero worship. It's actually rather timid here, you might even say banal.
