Revelers attack food vendor and clash with cops in Washington Square Park as peaceful Pride celebrations spiral into chaos in NYC's new crime hotspot
The culmination of New York City's Pride celebrations were marred on Sunday evening after an attack on a food vendor and skirmishes with police at which pepper spray was deployed. An elderly hot dog seller who was situated at the city's embattled Washington Square Park received a bust lip, bloody nose and was seen bleeding from his head after being punched in the face several times by a woman. The man could be seen standing next to the his food cart when he was suddenly caught off-guard and punched in the head almost knocking him off his feet.
