In London, a peaceful march takes place that includes members of the Gay, Sikh and Black community; they march under the banner “Unite Against Hate”, but the BBC and other “progressive” news outlets are calling them “Far Right” and are not reporting on the violent attacks being perpetrated AGAINST them. The simple reason for this is because they are protesting Sharia Law. What’s not to protest??? The BBC talks of bottle and flares thrown during the March…And neglect to say that it was the “anti-racicst” protestors throwing things and assaulting peaceful marchers.

Protests in modern society are very different from even a decade ago President-elect Donald Trump will become the 45th U.S. president on Jan. 20, 2017. And his inauguration as with any presidential inauguration or similar event will bring with it a whole host of public safety challenges – even national security issues – that few Americans (outside of the various law enforcement communities) will even consider. This particular inauguration may also present a number of law-enforcement challenges not previously experienced.

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones thinks he knows why no Major League Baseball player has publicly refused to stand during the national anthem like San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and others around the world of sports. "Baseball is a white man’s sport," Jones told USA Today. In the NFL, 68% of the players are African American; that compares with just 8% in the MLB. On opening day this spring, just 69 African American players were on teams’ rosters or disabled lists. "We already have two strikes against us already, so you might as well not kick yourself out of...

Posted by Jim Hoft on Monday, June 20, 2011, 6:19 AM It’s an Obama World… You will do as you’re told. You will keep your temperature at an Obama-approved level… Despite the double-standard set by our president. Human barricades are one of the most effective form of civil disobedience that ordinary citizens have at their disposal. And 10,000 people is certainly a large enough force to barricade one State Senator into their place of residence. Barricade eight State Senators into their homes, have the minority party return, and vote on that bill. With 25 people there, you'll have quorum to vote, but with 8 members of the majority party not in attendance, the minority party should be able to defeat the bill, 14-11.

Tehran, Jan 28 (DPA) Two opposition protesters were hanged in Iran Thursday and nine more were sentenced to death, the ISNA news agency reported. Iran's opposition movement accused the government of having manipulated the June presidential polls, bringing about Ahmadinejad's re-election. According to a statement by the Revolutionary Court, the two people who were hanged and the nine facing the death penalty were members of monarchist groups and the People's Mujaheddin, a...

Sounds like this video was produced in Great Britain. It was posted a week or so ago and it's a parody of highly politically charged outdoors peaceful protesting. The title says it all actually and it's quite entertaining!

I have a question concerning the Town Halls and this question is directed toward Freepers who have been to them. All we see on the tube are the shouts, the interuptions, etc. I would like to know how do the town halls start? I tend to think they start respectful at first and then the interuptions and shouting starts as the speaker begins to spout off what most of us would recognize as crap. Do I have that about right?

MIAMI - Another protest by air for - or more accurately against - Barack Obama. At the Democrat’s rally Tuesday evening in Miami, a single engine plane buzzed around pulling a banner asking Senator Obama and his wife, Michelle, to “repudiate” 60s radicals Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn.Republicans, including the GOP ticket, have attempted to draw attention to and amplify his relations with Ayers. Obama has consistently explained that he and Ayers simply sat on a Chicago education board together.(snip)

DODGE CITY - On Monday, John Martin, a meatpacker here, plans to skip work to attend a rally aimed at bolstering the call for immigration reform. "We want the work we do to be valued," he explained. "It's hard work in the plant." Fellow meatpacker David Gunion seconds that, wondering what would become of the plant without the workers, many of them immigrants. "Without us, the plant dies," he said. Fliers, e-mails and text messages are circulating like wildfire around southwest Kansas, calling on the zone's sizable Latino population to rally, skip work, skip school and boycott stores Monday to...

A Hard Look at the Anti-War Movement (Pardon My Long, Boring Vanity) Where did these goobers come from? I’ve asked myself this question over and over again. How did it get to this? It’s not just about dissent or protesting what you think is wrong anymore. The anti-war movement and protests encompass many issues, but all you ever see is this: Bush is evil. He is Hitler, he is a right-wing fascist, a religious fanatic, you name it. I wonder if there’s been a time since the Civil War when political discourse was so ugly. So let’s take a hard...

Veterans for Peace, the banners proclaimed as a minister said on a TV newscast, “After two years in Iraq, what have we gained … only the deaths of US soldiers and Iraqi civilians.” Most of us who are WWII veterans are all for peace. We don’t know anyone who prefers war over peace; however, we do know that it takes a war to obtain peace rather than to allow slavery or attacks by terrorists. We want a continued peace, not a temporary peace that will be regarded as a cowardly surrender by our terrorist enemies, thus causing more attacks on...
