It’s an Obama World… You will do as you’re told. You will keep your temperature at an Obama-approved level… Despite the double-standard set by our president.

A woman was arrested this past weekend for not allowing officials to install a smart meters in her neighborhood. The P/Oed Patriot reported:

SmartMeter.org reported:

An activist protesting against the installation of ‘smart’ meters was arrested today for civil disobedience. Amy O’Hair was arrested at Monterey and Edna in the Sunnyside neighborhood of San Francisco at 9.30 on Saturday 18 June 2011.

She sat on the hood of a smart meter installation truck to prevent installation of smart meters and refused to move. The police were called and arrested her. It was early in the morning, and few people were around, but a bystander waiting at a bus stop gave support. Amy was taken to 425 Seventh Street (Bryant Police station) to be cited.

The Obama EPA-approved smart grid will track CO2 emissions and internet use.

Why would anyone want to live in a foreign country like San Francisco anyway?

Way back in 1997 when FR was a baby, we used to discuss Agenda 21 a lot. Since then, it somehow faded from view and now has stuck it’s ugly head up once again.

It never went away...it just waited for Obama.

Yea sorry I'm calling the police too because if I just go I'll be the one arrested.

Find other ways of protesting.

Only in Freaksicko would a remote electric meter be fitted with a carbon dioxide sensor and an internet traffic sniffer!

If you look at the Obama time line, he merely picked up where Clinton left off. Bleh.

Almost government promoted program with the word “smart’ in front of it is an Agenda 21 driven program. If you are asking that question, you might want to take a look at the history of “sustainable development” and “green technology” legislation.

I would leave that to you to decide.

Hate to tell you all this, but almost all meters in rural areas talk back to the utility office. This saves them from having to send out a meter reader every month. They can track your power usage on a minute to minute basis if they want.

As to your appliances talking to the meter, clip the green wire.

I live out beyond cable, satelite is too expensive, and dial-up too slow. Cell phone internet access is tracked by the cell provider, but is the best option if you live in the woods and can get a signal.

Basically, unless you want to withdraw from the world and live like Ted Kasinski (sp?), everything you do is monitored in some way. If you do not want these meters, disconnect from the grid. Oh, and vote Republican (hold your nose and shut your eyes if you have too).
