The Defense Department is no longer moving forward with three border barrier projects in California and Arizona, according to a court filing Monday. The move is a reversal of an earlier Pentagon authorization for about 20 miles of fencing, lighting and other border infrastructure that would have used $2.5 billion in funds redirected from a counter-drug fund. That authorization, announced Aug. 27, was based on what was then determined to be "lower-than-expected contract costs." But the Defense Department revealed in the Monday filing that the department would not be able to cover the costs of the project. The Defense Department...

A new report shows a Democrat senator contacted a former Feinstein staffer back in 2017, in hopes of continuing an investigation so-called "collusion" between Trump and Russia. The former Feinstein staffer operates a group called "Democracy Integrity Project" which is heavily funded by Soros and has connections with Fusion GPS, as well as dossier author Christopher Steele. The one thing that's still not confirmed is the identity of the senator that reached out to the former Feinstein staffer. Daily Caller A Democratic senator outsourced parts of the investigation into possible Trump-Russia collusion to a former Senate staffer with links to...

The team of opposition researchers behind the infamous anti-Trump dossier embraced by the FBI were paid big bucks to continue trying to dig up dirt on Russian meddling in American politics – even after the 2016 presidential election. That revelation, buried inside a 243-page report released by House Intelligence Committee Republicans last week, has sparked new speculation about the identities of the secretive donors who were funding the post-election project. According to the House Intelligence Committee report, Daniel J. Jones – the president of the Penn Quarter Group and a former staffer for Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein – “secured the...

CONCORD, N.H. —Conservative activist James O’Keefe came to New Hampshire Thursday to turn over to Gov. Maggie Hassan what he said were raw, unedited versions of videos his group has released in recent weeks purportedly showing voting irregularities during the first-in-the-nation primary campaign. After O’Keefe handed the videos to a receptionist at the governor’s office, he was promptly served with a subpoena for the same material by an Attorney General’s Office investigator. O’Keefe said at a news conference the Attorney General’s Office tried to coerce the Project Veritas group, which he heads, into providing unedited videos by issuing formal notices...

A rare 3,000 year-old seal dating to the period of kings David and Solomon of the 10th century BCE was recently discovered at the Temple Mount Sifting Project in Jerusalem. According to Dr. Gabriel Barkay, co-founder and director of the Temple Mount Sifting Project, the seal is the first of its kind to be found in the Israeli capital. “The dating of the seal corresponds to the historical period of the Jebusites and the conquest of Jerusalem by King David, as well as the construction of the Temple and the royal official compound by his son, King Solomon… What makes...

The Columbia University student who carried her mattress around campus to protest how the school dealt her alleged rapist has created a video of herself having violent sex for her latest art piece. Emma Sulkowicz's new work, 'Ceci N'est Pas Un Viol' or 'This is not a rape', shows the 22-year-old engaging in consensual sexual contact with an unidentified man before it takes a dark twist. In the footage, she cries in pain and protest in a dorm room as she is slapped, choked and forced into rough sex, the New York Daily News reported. The video was posted on...

The Obama administration has shut down a Bush administration federal project aimed at demonstrating “clean coal” technology. The $1.7 billion FutureGen 2.0 project was meant to build a coal-fired power plant in Illinois that captures carbon and pumps it underground. Congress authorized $1.1 billion toward the project in 2009 as a continuation of a 2003 project Bush proposed. “The U.S. Department of Energy has directed the suspension of FutureGen 2.0 project development activities,” Ken Humphreys, head of the public-private FutureGen Alliance developing the plant, said in a Tuesday statement. “The DOE has concluded that there is insufficient time to complete...

James: Is there a good place in Aurora where like maybe a place where you can get the ballots, trash cans? Is there an apartment building in Aurora you recommend where they have like a lot of ballots laying around? Kristin: I would honestly say, this is going to sound weird…but ghetto Aurora, like north Aurora…cause south is like yuppieville.///But north Aurora is a lot of people who, I hate to like put in cliché’s, but people don’t care. Like the lower class they just don’t really… O’Keefe: So ghetto Aurora. Is that mostly African American population? Kristin: African American...

Following our announcement that Governor Cuomo and the New York Labor Department were unfairly targeting James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, the subpoena court date to show up with a three years of financial records has been cancelled. Last Monday morning staff at the NY Department of Labor called Project Veritas to inform us that the court date had been cancelled and provided no more information. No rescheduling has been requested. Could this be a result of the media blowback at Governor Cuomo given his recent statement that conservatives don’t belong in New York? It’s hard to ignore headlines such as...

In each trial, 192 laser beams briefly fired into a half-inch-long gold cylinder. The cylinder held a tiny ball that contained the fuel, which was a mix of two kinds of hydrogen, called deuterium and tritium. The energy from the lasers kicked off a process that compressed the ball by an amount akin to squeezing a basketball down to the size of a pea, said Debbie Callahan, an author of the paper. That created the extremely high pressure and temperatures needed to get the hydrogen atoms to fuse. It was all over in the blink of an eye, with the...

SALT LAKE CITY — A coalition of conservation groups is hailing a federal judge's ruling Monday to strike down portions of the Richfield Bureau of Land Management plan they said gave deference to off-road vehicles at the expense of the environment. "This landmark decision is a resounding rejection of the BLM’s mismanagement of Utah’s stunning public lands,” said Stephen Bloch, legal director for the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. ... The Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance was among seven groups that filed a legal challenge to the Bush-era plans following their adoption in 2008, contending they imperiled pristine landscapes. In the coming weeks, Hanauer and Loranne Ausley, a former member of the Florida House of Representatives, plan to launch something they're calling the Southern Project, which will conduct research and formulate messages that can help Democrats win over Southern voters. A pilot study conducted in North Carolina in February, for example, concluded that under the state's Republican governor, Pat McCrory, "there is a clear sense that hardworking taxpayers are getting the short end of the stick at the expense of big corporations and the wealthiest." The set of talking points advises progressives to make arguments "focused around fairness and...

Project Veritas visited police stations nationwide and asked law enforcement officials how they could protect themselves in the event of an armed break-in. "Go get some bleach. Go get ammonia," one officer instructed. Yet another officer instructed the undercover journalist to, "lock yourself in a bedroom" and "start yelling and screaming." Vice President Joe Biden recently advised Americans to, "get a shotgun" for home protection. But when asked whether or not they should follow the Vice President's advice, law enforcement officials told the undercover journalists they would be arrested for doing so. Featured is our interview with Milwaukee County Sheriff...

A 1991 strategy paper for the Brotherhood, often referred to as the Ikhwan in Arabic, found in the Virginia home of an unindicted co-conspirator in the case, describes the group's U.S. goals, referred to as a "civilization-jihadist process." "The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions," it states. This process requires a "mastery of the...

Tonight is the 1st of two nights @ pm, broadcasting a special on the worldwide plan for the Caliphate in general and for the US in particular. You can read articles on the documents of "The Project" at The Blaze and if you search the Interwebs. They're there. But this will be visual. I have studied the Islamic world for decades and am known in my family for my dogmatic insistence on what is going to happen--which, unfortunately, Beck now sees, too. I have 'spouted' this for over 25 years, since just prior to 1979. I can remember sitting on...
