If you grew up a fan of the paranormal in the '90s, then you’ll easily recognize the name Art Bell. The iconic radio host of Coast to Coast AM talked long into the night with his guests, discussing everything from ghosts and aliens, to time travel and Bigfoot. Now, Academy Award-nominee Paul Giamatti is set to portray the late Bell in a new biopic from Ready or Not and Abigail directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

The remarkable life story of Coast to Coast AM creator Art Bell may soon be coming to the silver screen by way of a biopic starring Oscar nominee Paul Giamatti. The percolating film project, set to be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of the acclaimed creative collective Radio Silence, has reportedly already drawn interest from Amazon and Warner Bros. Credited with spearheading the movie are producers Sophie Cassidy and Jeff Katz, who is a longtime fan of the late paranormal radio legend.

Actor Paul Giamatti gave U.S. Attorney John Durham some credit for informing his character on Showtime's Billions. The Hollywood star plays fictional U.S. Attorney-turned-New York Attorney General Chuck Rhoades, who is loosely based on former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara, on the show, but Bharara isn't the only inspiration for the role. Go ahead, yuk it up. Actor Paul Giamatti has signed on to replace Sean Penn as Larry in the Farrelly brothers' new movie version of “The Three Stooges." Penn dropped out of the film earlier in the year citing personal reasons. Director Peter Farrelly recently confirmed that Giamatti had assumed Penn's role.
