If you grew up a fan of the paranormal in the '90s, then you’ll easily recognize the name Art Bell. The iconic radio host of Coast to Coast AM talked long into the night with his guests, discussing everything from ghosts and aliens, to time travel and Bigfoot. Now, Academy Award-nominee Paul Giamatti is set to portray the late Bell in a new biopic from Ready or Not and Abigail directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.

Chris Carter would be my choice for Director.
Good actor.
Odd choice for this role.
Did they even talk to Art Bell/Coast to Coast fans for some suggestions?
Or maybe do an Episode and ask Art himself?
I can’t wait.
What I want to know is why hasn’t anybody heard from Bell in the seven years since he died?
Art passed away some years back. I suppose some of his past guests could reach him through a seance.
You’d have to use a Ouija board in which case Art would still not answer (being he passed on a few years ago) because he’s against Ouija boards. You never know what will come through.
Art had the most interesting show on radio. Ever. Wish he was still around.
🤣🤣
He always played off-beat characters.
Showings only at midnight, 2AM and 4AM to get the Art Bell fans.
I would have cast Judd Nelson.
Dan Akroyd would have been a good choice to play Art and he was on the show at least once.
Peach
I didn’t listen to his show that much when it was on, but when I did, it made me long to be able to walk around Pahrump NV in the wee hours of the morning.

The thing with Ouija boards is you don’t know who you’re really talking to. I wouldn’t allow one in my house.
cool
East of the Rockies... you’re on the air
For many years I would listen to Art religiously. Went to sleep with him playing on the CCRane Radio. I think Art made that company what it is today....
Did I buy what was on the air?—Some of it was silly bunkum, Some of it was entertaining and some was purely, Hmmmmmm....
Coast to Coast with Art Bell was a super antidote to the anxieties and worries the listeners’ own day-to-day existence. Just click on that program and be transported by stories of the callers to dimensions of existence and experience you never before imagined. That program was addictive!
