I received an e-mail today from the Fox News producer who booked me for the O'Reilly Factor last night. The links have been forwarded to Jim Robinson for review.

Jim asked me to start a thread with the links so that Freepers, and everyone else, could see for themselves what the fuss is about.

Wednesday, August 01, 2007 Posted By:Melanie MorganPermalink Why Bill O’Reilly’s Attack on FreeRepublic.com are Unfair Bill O’Reilly’s been making waves the past few weeks by focusing on the prevalance of ‘hateful’ content at the liberal website, Daily Kos. O’Reilly is particularly disturbed to see Democratic presidential candidates agreeing to speak at the annual YearlyKos convention that will take place August 2nd through 5th. To show balance in his reporting, O’Reilly has unfortunately chosen to target the good people who visit the conservative website, www.FreeRepublic.com. Last night O’Reilly had on his show a friend of mine, Kristinn Taylor, who is...

Superb political reporter and sometime blogger Rick Perlstein recently posted this: Shortly before she died, my grandmother—one of the people, naturally, I loved the most in the world—broke my heart. Celia Perlstein, like most of our grandparents, didn’t get out much in her final years; in fact, for the last few years of her life, I’m not sure she got out of her old folks home at all. I don’t think she really wanted to. She was sure that beyond its threshold lay dragons: far-far-far leftists out to steal her Social Security; turbaned terrorists just itching to fly a jet...

You Tube video of The O'Reilly Factor with Kristinn Taylor speaking for Free Republic. Bill O'Reilly makes claims about Freerepublic.com to spin us into a right wing hate site.

I'm not going to call Bill O'Reilly a liar... yet, but... on his TV show today, he read off a laundry list of ridiculous "hate" statements like "I hate blacks," "Hillary should be assassinated" and "homosexuals are dogs" that he said he personally found on Free Republic and claims that they were posted here today. I do not believe that. I doubt that he personally logged on to FR and I doubt he found any such thing posted here today. Who knows what we may have missed and is buried deep in our archives of millions of posts, but our...

Hi Bill, I've been a subscriber to Free Republic for about two years. I've been involved in a lot of Freeper discussion groups and have led several threads, including one where I identified myself as a black Freeper, with no blatantly racial kickback. What the Freeper spokesman should have mentioned is that the discussion threads are SELF-POLICING...when someone gets out of line, my experience has been that somewhere down the thread, THEY WILL BE CALLED ON IT. Free Republic is first and foremost, a meeting place for conservatives. The discussions run overwhelmingly along ideological lines, that at times have racial...

O'Reilly about to talk about this now.

Looks like the kids at KOS kicked it up a notch this morning when Mike Stark and one of his companions went into the neighborhood of Bill O Reilly and put up posters calling him a "PERVERT" and a "CHEATER"Afterwards he posted photos of the signs and his discussion with BOR on Daily KOS.There is a running battle going on right now at the sight argueing against and for his tactics.

I just returned from Falafel Bill's house by Mike Stark Tue Jul 31, 2007 at 06:34:58 AM PDT After O'Reilly provided an "accountability moment" to the JetBlue CEO at his home, I decided to provide O'Reilly with his own accountability moment at his home. I've just returned to home base. I've got video of O'Reilly in his sleepwear (red shorts and a white t-shirt). I delivered the Andrea Mackris Court filings to all of his neighors - every home in his development got a copy. And I put a bunch of signs up along his street - "Bill O'Reilly: Andrea...

Anybody watching OReily now? OReily says he'll point out and take to task any republicans going to right wing hate sites. Freerepublic was specifically mentioned.
-
I recently tuned in to the Radio Factor to hear Bill O'Reilly saying that he was hated by Freerepublic and that it was an extreme right wing blog. First of all, Mr. O'Reilly is not hated. I have a lot of respect for the man, his honesty, integrity and point of view. What I don't like, as do many Freepers, is that when he is on target on some key issues, he is way off target on others. He needs to realize that we even disagree amongst ourselves quite often. I get my daily dose of talk radio, Rush, Dr....

Bill O'Reilly and Rod Wheeler Apologize for Inaccuracies in Their Report on Violent Lesbian Gangs On July 3rd LifeSiteNews and many other services reported on a Fox News Bill O'Reilly segment on violent lesbian gangs in Washington, DC. and elsewhere. The report included video footage of violent incidents and a report from crime investigator Rod Wheeler. O'Reilly and Wheeler now report that there were significant inaccuracies and exaggerations in the the report. In his apology Wheeler states, "During the O'Reilly Factor segment on June 21st, while engaged in a discussion on Lesbian gangs, I inadvertently stated that gang members carry...

On Mr. O'Reilly's Show today he plainly stated that he knew lots of people who were in the country illegally but would not turn them in because they are "Good People" and that it is a civil offense. I guess they are doing the jobs that Bill wouldn't do.He then went on to opine to a Canadian caller that their medical system "works so well because there are fewer Canadians".Mr. O'Reilly has flipped his lid! His Radio diatribe does not match his tough talk on his Fox News show. Awaiting Flames.

Bill O’Reilly Takes on JetBlue’s Sponsorship of Daily Kos Convention Posted by Noel Sheppard on July 16, 2007 - 17:35. According to Bill O’Reilly’s website, the Fox News host Monday evening will be taking on a decision by airliner JetBlue to sponsor YearlyKos, the second annual convention of Daily Kos and company: Talking Points Memo & Top Story JetBlue and the radical left Why would JetBlue sponsor a hateful far-left website? We'll discuss it. This information was obviously made available to the Kossacks, as regular DK diarist mcjoan had plenty to say on the subject in a posting early Monday...

President Bush held a press conference Thursday trying to persuade Americans to hang in there on Iraq. The president has a very tough road on that one. All the polls show most Americans do not believe the war is going well and want to wind it down, feeling the effort is not worth much more American blood and treasure. The president's argument for sustaining the war is largely theoretical and he is correct: A defeat in Iraq would harm the United States and could lead to a greater conflict down the road. But there comes a time when enough's enough....

On his program last night Fox News host Bill O'Reilly blasted his cable competitors for their "delight in showing Iraqi violence," a product of an editorial mindset at CNN and MSNBC that "want[s] Americans to think badly of President Bush." "And that strategy has succeeded," he added. O'Reilly's words came in response to remarks made by CNN president Jon Klein who accused FNC of dialing back Iraq coverage as violence in Iraq has increased. "It illustrates the danger of cheerleading for one particular point or another because they were obviously cheerleaders for the war," He told the AP. "When the...
