Just a short video at the link. I don't know how to embed videos. Ocured to me, the warden was more effective than multiple deputies in Broward county doing what I consider to being their job.

Young Auctioneer Auctions off Guns The Wagoner County Oklahoma Sheriff's office held an auction of guns from its property room on 19 August, 2017. For a segment of the gun auction, the auctioneer was a boy, about 12 years old. He does an excellent job. You may have to scroll down the facebook page a bit to see the video. Link to facebook video: The firearms went for surprisingly low prices, compared to most gun auctions that I have seen. The Marlin .22 rifles went for about $100, and Browning patent Auto-5 type shotgun only brought $200. It is...

On 19 May, 2017, Oklahoma governor Mary Fallin signed into law another reform of Oklahoma firearms law. SB 397 removed another egregious discrimination against poor people exercising their Second Amendment rights. In Oklahoma, it is illegal to bear arms on buses used as public mass transportation. Most people who have sufficient means prefer to use private transportation. In most situations it is far more efficient, effective, and convenient to use individual transport. But in some situations, such as in crowded urban centers where parking is expensive, time consuming, and hard to find, a great many people have to resort...

The vast majority of defensive firearm uses involve the defensive display of the firearm. In some states, it is illegal to display a gun for defensive purposes without risking a felony. Mere display is considered the use of deadly force. Estimates of defensive gun uses vary form about 100,000 to 3 million each year(CDC pdf). Yet only 1,500 to 3,000 people are justifiably killed each year. About five to ten times that many are shot and end up hospitalized. About five to ten times as many as are shot, are shot at, but missed. The number of times when...

Independent journalist Mike Cernovich and writer/reporter for Sputnik, Cassandra Fairbanks posted a picture of themselves in the White House press room doing the ‘ok’ symbol and the left went crazy. They were immediately called ‘white supremacists’. This tweet went viral and as of this moment has nearly 5,000 retweets. This tweet eventually caught the eye of ‘The Independent’ because they did a hit piece on both Mike Cernovich and Cassandra Fairbanks. See how fake...

Senator Josh Brecheen is pushing for more incremental restoration of Second Amendment rights in Oklahoma. Brecheen is a Second Amendment advocate who sees Oklahoma permit fees as chilling the exercise of the right to keep and bear arms. From kfor.com: Senator Josh Brecheen wants to reduce the cost of gun licenses from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, and possibly eliminate the administrative costs from the local sheriff's office. Link to video of Sgt. Tuell At 1:15 a.m. on a cold December night, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, most people are not prowling other people's back yards, looking for trouble. But 32 year old Perry Wallace seems to have been doing exactly that. He jumped a fence to get into the back yard of a homeowner. The homeowner and his family (a girlfriend and four children) were at home. Then Perry made a big mistake. He tried to break into the home through the bedroom door, which led to the backyard. Todd Rathner is a talented freedom fighter. I have been impressed with his abilities for several years. I met him again at the Gun Rights Policy Conference in Tampa. Todd is the lobbyist for Knife Rights. The accomplishments of Knife Rights for the last decade has been tremendous, impressive, a tiny organization fighting far above its weight class. Knife Rights says they have opened a second front in the war to restore the Second Amendment. They are correct, and they are winning significant victories every year. I have written about Knife Rights before. Doug Ritter is one of the...

image from newsok.com After the Dallas police massacre, the Oklahoma City police union asked that officers be allowed to carry their personal rifles with them at work. From newsok.com: Citing the deaths of five officers in Dallas last week, the Fraternal Order of Police has asked that Oklahoma City officers be allowed to carry their personal rifles and ammunition and be issued additional body armor. A century ago, it was common for law officers to provide their own firearms. In many small departments, personal firearms are still the norm. But the trend toward uniformity and liability lawsuits have pushed...
