Putting money where their mouths are helped Republican businessmen Tom Ganley and Jim Renacci win crowded congressional primaries for the chance to unseat Democratic incumbents this November. Ganley, a Brecksville auto dealer who lent his campaign more than $2 million, bested five shoestring challengers looking to take on Rep. Betty Sutton of Copley Township this fall. "I think I am running on adrenaline right now," an excited Ganley said after declaring victory at his campaign headquarters in Broadview Heights. He said his November campaign will focus on his record of creating jobs and managing money. "As a businessman, the term...

Ohio Primary is this coming Tuesday, May 4th. I'm looking to list all the conservative candidates. Last minute donations can help get the word out. Of course, some races are already set, with no chance of an incumbant losing. However, Ohio has upwards of 5 vulnerable Dem House seats, and it's important to challenge these Dems with the most conservative candidates. Here's what I have so far. Please, chime in: District 1: Steve Chabot District 13: Tom Ganley District 15: Steve Stivers District 16: Jim Renacci District 18: Dave Daubenmire
  • Ohio SOS Jennifer Brunner attempts to fix the election

Nearly 2,000 petition signatures simply vanished in the hands of Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, a man whom Brunner disqualified from the May ballot for attorney general alleged yesterday. The problem here is, why would Secretary Brunner even bother to check the names at all, if there weren’t at least the minimum requirement of 1000? I think the very fact that she is looking is proof that her office thinks they screwed up. Below is Brunner’s receipt showing that he filed approximately 2750 signatures… along with his “disqualification letter.” And below that is the “worklogs,” showing how many signatures and petitions...

On February 18th at 12:29 PM, Steve Christopher submitted petitions containing approximately 2,750 signatures to the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office. The petitions were submitted to place Christopher on the Republican Primary Ballot this May. The signatures on these petitions were obtained by numerous circulators working to seat a common-sense conservative in the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office. At the time of submission, a receipt for these signatures was given to Christopher. We have a copy of this receipt that can be sent to any media source upon request. The top portion of this receipt was filled out by...
