A court in Rangoon rejected and closed the case of Aung Hlaing Win who was killed at a military intelligence interrogation centre. Mayanggone Township court, on 10 June, declared that the death of Aung Hlaing Win was an “ordinary” one and closed the case, causing disgruntle among the remaining relatives of Aung Hlaing Win. His corpse was never returned to the family as the authorities cremated it secretly.
