Orange County Superior Court Judge Richard Toohey on Friday also scheduled a Sept. 11 pretrial hearing for Andrew Thomas Gallo. Gallo is charged with three counts of second-degree murder, three other felonies and one misdemeanor. Adenhart pitched six scoreless innings last night against the Oakland A's, and then was killed last night in a car accident when his vehicle was hit by a suspected drunk driver. Adenhart and two others in his vehicle were killed. The driver who hit Adenhart fled the scene on foot and was caught by police about 30 minutes later. Los Angeles Angels pitcher Nick Adenhart, who started in a home game against the A's Wednesday night, was killed in a felony hit-and-run car accident in Fullerton, California, early Thursday morning, according to multiple reports. The accident was cause by the driver of a minivan who ran a red light, which caused the Mitsubishi that Adenhart was riding in to hit a light pole, police said.
