Investigators are working to uncover what caused a fleet of decommissioned SEPTA buses to catch fire at a Philadelphia bus depot on Thursday morning. SEPTA GM Scott Sauer said over a dozen of the torched buses were Protera-manufactured electric buses that he said have not been used in several years. A total of 40 buses were damaged in the fire, sparking air quality concerns that the city's health department says are still unhealthy for nearby residents. No one was injured in the fire at SEPTA's largest bus depot that runs 24-hours a day.

Elon Musk went nuclear on President Trump Thursday, accusing him of withholding information from the public about Jeffrey Epstein because it would implicate him. “Time to drop the really big bomb,” Musk posted on X after a multi-hour tirade against the president. “@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files.” That is the real reason they have not been made public,” he claimed. “Have a nice day, DJT!” The disgraced financier’s association with Trump has been known for years as the two were videotaped and photographed together at parties in the 1990s.

The woman who was charged after spitting on DOJ official Ed Martin is potentially facing new charges after she went on an insane tweet rant and threatened Interim DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro. Last month, the Justice Department charged the unhinged woman who spat on DOJ official Ed Martin. The woman, identified as Emily Gabriella Sommer, was charged with violation of 18 U.S.C. § 111 (Assaulting, resisting, or impeding certain officers and employees of the United States). Sommer spat on then-Acting DC US Attorney Ed Martin last month while he was interviewing with Newsmax. “We need to stay focused,” Ed...

President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to cut Elon Musk’s government contracts as their fractured alliance rapidly escalated into a public feud with Trump suggesting he would use the U.S. government to hurt his fellow billionaire financially. The spectacular blow-up between the president of the United States and the world’s richest man played out on their respective social media platforms after Trump first broached the topic in a White House meeting with Germany’s new leader. The rancorous breakup happened less than a week after they appeared together at the White House and Trump thanked Musk for his brief but tumultuous...

The Pentagon notified Congress last week that it will be diverting critical anti-drone technology that had been allocated for Ukraine to US Air Force units in the Middle East, according to correspondence obtained by CNN and people familiar with the matter. The move reflects the US’ shifting defense priorities under President Donald Trump – toward the Middle East and the Pacific – and the fact that US stockpiles of some defense components are becoming increasingly stretched. The technology, proximity fuzes for the rockets Ukraine uses to shoot down Russian drones, was redirected from the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) to Air Force...

Order books are now open for the 2026 Ram 1500 with the 5.7-liter engine. The Hemi-powered Ram 1500 is back, and it goes on sale this summer for the 2026 model year. It won't be the standard engine in the pickup, but if you're a cylinder counter and can't live without eight of them, it'll cost up to $1,200 to upgrade. Order books are open now. “Everyone makes mistakes, but how you handle it defines you,” said Kuniskis. "Ram screwed up when we dropped the Hemi—we own it and we fixed it.” The brand shifted to a six-cylinder engine lineup...

Thursday on ABC’s “The View,” former President Bill Clinton defended former President Joe Biden’s 2024 debate performance by blaming the staff for his travel schedule. Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “Mr. President, I want to ask you, last time you were here, you were actually fiercely defender of President Biden’s when people were questioning whether he should stay in the race and when he decided to step aside. You praised his decision to do so. t]There have now been a lot of reports, books written with Democratic sources talking about what appeared to be decline while he was in the...

Elon was “wearing thin,” I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY! The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!

President Trump said Thursday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are similar to children fighting on a playground and that more time may be needed before “pulling them apart.” “Sometimes you see two young children fighting like crazy. They hate each other, and they’re fighting in a park, and you try and pull them apart. They don’t want to be pulled,” Trump told reporters while hosting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in the Oval Office. “Sometimes you’re better off letting them fight for a while and then pulling them apart. And I gave that analogy to Putin...

Laura Loomer @LauraLoomer It’s heating up. Will be interesting to see what Republican lawmakers do now. I know law makers who are asking if they should side with President Trump or Elon. I’ve been on the hill all day and it’s all anyone is talking about. The most powerful man in the world vs the richest man in the world. 12:30 PM · Jun 5, 2025

Walmart is reportedly laying off more than 100 employees in its technology offices in Silicon Valley, part of larger corporate layoffs across the country. The company’s tech workers in the San Francisco Bay Area are being axed as part of Walmart’s plan to lay off around 1,500 corporate employees across the country, according to a report by the San Francisco Chronicle. Positions within Walmart’s global technology, U.S. e-commerce fulfillment, and advertising divisions will reportedly also be hit as a result of the company being restructured. The company, however, did not disclose all of the locations that will be affected.

Since he was sworn in four months ago after an airtight confirmation vote, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has continued to be at the center of controversy. We have seen Hegseth’s use of the Signal messaging app on an unsecure personal phone to discuss sensitive military operations, his firing of three senior aides, and a Pentagon chock-full of internal turmoil. ince he was sworn in four months ago after an airtight confirmation vote, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has continued to be at the center of controversy. Three British people face the death penalty after being charged with smuggling nearly a kilo of cocaine into Bali, Indonesia. Jonathan Christopher Collyer, 28, and Lisa Ellen Stocker, 29, were detained at Denpasar International Airport after customs officers flagged suspicious items in their luggage. The 993.56g is worth an estimated six billion rupiah (£270,000). Two days later, Phineas Ambrose Float, 31, was arrested in a sting by police pretending to stage a delivery in the...

The open acrimony between the two men comes after the billionaire denounced President Trump’s signature domestic policy bill as an “abomination.” President Trump and Elon Musk’s alliance dissolved into open acrimony on Thursday, as the two men hurled personal attacks at each other after the billionaire had unleashed broadsides against the president’s signature domestic policy bill. While meeting with Friedrich Merz, Germany’s new chancellor, in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump broke days of uncharacteristic silence and unloaded on Mr. Musk, who until last week was a top presidential adviser. “I’m very disappointed in Elon,” Mr. Trump said. “I’ve helped Elon...

A court ruling on Monday in Britain, if it is allowed to stand, could do nothing less than change the course of that country’s history, and that of the entire world. The U.K. has taken a decisive step away from the principles of free speech that it played a dominant role in formulating and giving to the world. There is serious cause for doubt now about whether the Sceptered Isle will even survive as a free society. Officially, Hamit Coskun was found guilty of a “religiously aggravated public order offence.” His specific crime, however, was that he publicly burned a...
