When the lockdown began in the United States in the Spring of 2020 it was billed as a two-week effort to “flatten the curve” and get ahead of the spread of the virus. With little or no explanation, the authorities that told us this would be sufficient then extended and expanded lockdown measures across the country. It is now nine months later. There is no end in sight. In fact, very much to the contrary; a whole host of new excuses for continuing the lockdown have appeared. We must all be vaccinated. We must all produce proof of vaccination. The...

Earlier, The Political Insider reported that Microsoft founder Bill Gates expressed support for shutting down bars and restaurants for up to six months, and indicated lockdowns may continue all the way into 2022. The billionaire Microsoft founder made his sobering warning during an interview with CNN over the weekend. âWell, sadly, the next four to six months could be the worst of the epidemic,â he told anchor Jake Tapper in discussing lockdowns and his support for extreme restrictions such as stay-at-home orders issued by California Governor Gavin Newsom.

A report from July of 2019 indicates Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell received thousands of dollars in donations from lobbyists for two of the largest electronic voting machine vendors in the United States â Election Systems & Software and Dominion Voting Systems. Newsweek reported on the donations in noting that McConnell (R-KY) had squashed two separate bills in the Senate addressing election security. The reports were based on an investigation by an outlet called âSludge.â âSeveral of the lobbyists working for ES&S and Dominion Voting Systems have recently made contributions to McConnellâs campaign and joint fundraising committee,â Sludge wrote.

Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has seen enough â after the Electoral College met across the country, the top Senator congratulated Joe Biden as President-elect. President Trump has not conceded the election, and insists he will still prevail. âI want to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden,â McConnell said on the Senate floor on Tuesday.

Conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh believes the political landscape in America makes it possible that the nation is âtrending toward secession.â âI actually think that weâre trending toward secession,â Limbaugh surmised. âI see more and more people asking what in the world do we have in common with the people who live in, say, New York?â âWhat is there that makes us believe that there is enough of us there to even have a chance at winning New York, especially if youâre talking about votes?â

Country singer John Rich challenged Rolling Stone's Adam Gold to a $10,000 bet over how the Supreme Court will rule in regards to the presidential election after the music writer called him a "Nostradumbass" for still supporting Trump.

Once upon a time Seattle was one of my favorite cities in the world. Situated as it is beside the beauty of Puget Sound with the Cascades in one direction and the majesty of the Olympic Peninsula in the other, it is placed in one of the world’s most beautiful locations. The climate also is enviable, never too cold, never too hot, perhaps a bit damp but nothing compared to the nearby rain forests. Wandering through Pike Place market was a magical experience then. Not anymore. Seattle has gone mad, lost to the inherently irrational “progressive” agenda that is raging...

If you are following the news regarding the ongoing election results controversy, you will have noted some very powerful testimony offered by whistleblowers appearing before state legislatures around the country. The picture painted of rampant abuse of the electoral process, an almost complete lack of security surrounding votes cast and arrogance on the part of officials supervising the polling places is shocking in the extreme. Perhaps what you may not have noticed is that no such hearings are taking place in Pennsylvania. Thatâs because the entire legislature in Harrisburg adjourned on the 30th of November. The members went home. They...

Rules are sort of everything. We accept the results of a contest of any kind, only because we believe rules were followed. Our guy lost, but we have confidence that it was a fair fight. Once that confidence is gone, once we begin to believe that the game is rigged and that we have been cheated, all bets are off. This is true in sports. It is true in business. It is even more true in the realm of politics and governance. Our republic was founded on the bedrock of constitutional principles. We have accepted the results of elections and...

According to the legacy media, there have been more than 250,000 deaths from COVID-19 since the so-called pandemic began. That means to the average American that there are 250,000 plus Americans who are dead today who would otherwise still be with us. Those people were killed by the virus. That seems a matter of common sense. Is it true? Genevieve Briand, assistant program director of the Applied Economics masterâs degree program at Johns Hopkins University, recently critically analyzed the effect of COVID-19 on U.S. deaths using data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in her webinar titled...

Inherent in the concept of a free and fair election is the principle of one man, one vote. Each of us is equal before the law, and the authorities conducting the election are constitutionally required to conduct the election in such a way that protects this right. We must have confidence in the results of the election. In fact, perhaps nothing else is quite as important to the functioning of a democracy than this fact. It is only because we trust the results of elections that we agree to the peaceful transfer of power and accept defeat at the polls....

Thanksgiving is coming up soon. All over the nation, Americans are getting ready to thank God (hopefully) for the many blessings they have been giving. Despite being wracked by a pandemic and political divisiveness, not to mention the utter ridiculousness and blatant fraud of this election, we still live in the most prosperous nation on Earth. That’s worth celebrating and is why I think Americans of every background and stripe should celebrate Thanksgiving despite Covid. Of course, not everyone feels the same way. Many of your governors, who view you as a peon and your rights as obstacles to their...

America has traditionally been known as a haven for free speech. Yes, you can’t scream “fire” in a crowded theater and cause a panic, but you can always stand up for what you believe in. Students, for better or worse, stood up against the government to protest the war in Vietnam. African-Americans marched for Civil Rights. Conservatives advocate for reduced taxes and less gun control. But the issue of free speech on college campuses never crossed their minds. They were free to say what they thought. Our system has been strengthened by that free speech because it brings debates into...

Capitalism, and the American pharmaceutical industry that thrives under it, saves lives. With the possible exception of “Big Oil,” there is no industry more demonized in America than the pharmaceutical industry. In some cases, the disdain for “Big Pharma” is both understandable and justified—as with the “commercial triumph” but “public health tragedy” surrounding the sale and regulation of OxyContin. But we are now on the precipice of one of those very pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer Inc., being granted permission by the FDA to distribute a COVID-19 vaccine, in the hopes of eradicating a disease that has killed almost 1.3 million worldwide...

Let’s go over what the FBI and DOJ have done. They spied on journalists that were critical of Obama and have never apologized for that. That’s unamerican, undermines the idea of free speech and the 1st Amendment, and is completely unacceptable. We as a free people should never have to deal with questions such as “is the entire DOJ corrupt?” Also, it shows that there was no strong or just leadership at the DOJ and FBI under the Obama Administration and somehow still isn’t today. A strong, non-partisan head would have ensured that such abuses could not take place. Sadly,...

When the conservative philosopher Edmund Burke wrote REFLECTIONS ON THE FRENCH REVOLUTION he described, with horror, the total destruction of the ancient regime in France, and the replacement of this elegant civilized (if imperfect) Medieval Country with a barbaric, mad, chaotic Reign of Terror. If the Democrats prevail in this election, America will suffer a similar fate: Obamaism on steroids: floods of illegal immigrants; Drug Cartel money and destruction; human slave trafficking; return to Globalist Control with China, EU, and Iran. Total censorship by Big Tech, politicized and weaponized federal agencies and education. Use of medicinal lockdowns to control the...

The last few years for any Trump supporter were awful. Cancel culture, as I’ve always said, is a toxic concept. Cancel culture especially goes after anyone aligned with Donald Trump. You see people harassed in college, potentially get fired, or lose family/friends for having the “wrong opinion.” We have dealt with the worst of the worst, but now, the Left wants to be for “peace and unity?” I don’t buy it for one second. Democrats don’t, and never did, stand for peace and unity. If anything, it’s the opposite.

When I taught the Classics of Political Theory, I used to introduce Karl Marx as “the least funny of the Marx Brothers”. But as I mentioned in an earlier piece in this site, “What Made American Academia Great and How It Was Destroyed”, this failed comedian’s ideas have infiltrated American Universities to the detriment of true learning.

Americans can’t just know who the Founding Fathers were and some of the good things they did. We can’t just know about Washington crossing the Delaware, Jefferson buying Louisiana and writing the Declaration, Madison writing the Constitution, and Madison and Hamilton writing most of The Federalist Papers. Yes, those achievements were significant and were some of the most important parts of the bedrock of Western Civilization. But just knowing that is not enough. We also have to stand up and defend the Founding Fathers from the attacks launched against them.
