Gov. Deval Patrick, who is playing a lead role in President Obama’s re-election campaign and readying for a book tour, is spending the weekend in Washington, D.C., where he’s being wined and dined at the White House and huddling with Democratic governors. Patrick is in Washington for the National Governors Association winter meeting, and his dance card is filled with official and personal business.
