On Tuesday, Decision Desk called the North Carolina U.S. Senate race for Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.). His opponent, Army reservist Cal Cunningham, confessed to having cheated on his wife with a woman who is married to an Army veteran who broke his spine during active service. While some outlets like the Associated Press have yet to call the race for Tillis, Cunningham conceded on Tuesday. “I just called Senator Tillis to congratulate him on winning re-election to a second term in the U.S. Senate and wished him and his family the best in their continued service in the months and...

On Tuesday afternoon, a full week after the election, The Decision Desk HQ has called North Carolina for President Donald Trump and Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), showing a sound defeat for Tillis’ well-funded Democratic challenger, Cal Cunningham, who National File exposed for having an extramarital affair with the wife of a U.S. Army veteran who apparently became suicidal after learning his wife was cheating him. Decision Desk HQ officially projects that President Trump and Tillis will be the winners of the North Carolina elections, despite the vote having frozen at 94% reported on November 3 and remained almost constant until...

A U.S. Navy veteran, Clyde gained political exposure in recent years by pushing Congress to pass legislation limiting the IRS’s powers for civil asset forfeiture after the agency seized nearly $1 million from his gun store. Clyde credited the experience with inspiring him to run for office, saying in a debate last month that it “showed me there’s a very thin line between we the people running our government and our government running us.” Clyde grew a small firearms business he launched in his Athens garage in 1991 into a nationwide company with two locations, following three combat deployments in...

This year’s presidential election hasn’t provided the catharsis that many on the left were awaiting. Instead of the hoped-for “Blue Wave,” we have a still-too-close-to-call presidential election, while Republicans picked up House seats and appear to have held on to the Senate. One response might be self-criticism: to wonder how, after four years of single-mindedly trying to get rid of Trump and marginalize his followers, things didn’t go better. Instead, Democrats’ thinkers seem to be asking themselves variations on “How can I live in a country where half the people supported Donald Trump?” ... professors around America were expressing anger...

Postal workers discovered more than 1,000 ballots Thursday in Philadelphia facilities and another 300 in Pittsburgh, according to Politico. The United States Postal Service (USPS) is rushing to deliver the uncounted votes to election officials before the deadline on Friday, the outlet said. “The Postal Service has been ordered by U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan to report on the results of twice-daily sweeps for election mail, with a particular emphasis on states that are still accepting ballots postmarked by Election Day,” the report continued: Though North Carolina has long allowed for late-arriving ballots to be counted, as long as...

As of 5 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, six states that will decide the next president remained uncalled, as did a handful of Senate races that will determine who controls the chamber. Here’s where things stand on Day 3, when you can expect final results, and how to follow along as this extraordinary election unfolds. What are we waiting for? In the presidential race, as of 5 p.m. Eastern, we did not yet know who won Alaska (3 electoral votes), Arizona (11), Georgia (16), Nevada (6), North Carolina (15) or Pennsylvania (20).

Fox News is currently engaged in full damage control after they exposed themselves with manipulative election coverage and destroyed their credibility in the most brutal fashion imaginable. That said, CTH has written about the Fox Agenda for years, but even we didn’t know the details of the scheme construct until this tweet from Guy Benson: Setting aside that Benson spelled Daron Shaw’s name wrong; and reminding yourself that Guy Benson is a paid Fox News contributor; what he has outlined in that tweet is actually quite remarkable. The pollster paid by Fox News to predict election outcomes, is a key...

We have claimed, for Electoral Vote purposes, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (which won’t allow legal observers) the State of Georgia, and the State of North Carolina, each one of which has a BIG Trump lead. Additionally, we hereby claim the State of Michigan if, in fact,.........there was a large number of secretly dumped ballots as has been widely reported!  https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1324108206801563650 Â

It's unlikely Americans will know the full electoral picture in North Carolina for another eight days, the North Carolina State Board of Elections said Wednesday. Trump currently holds a lead of less than 80,000 votes over Biden in the state, which NBC projects is still too close to call. NBC News estimates that about 300,000 votes are left to be tallied, but counting in North Carolina has not resumed during the day Wednesday following Election Day. The final count is delayed because the vast majority of county boards of elections won't start counting the absentee and provisional ballots until Nov....
