SEATTLE — A grocery store cashier who was on his way to work was brutally beaten after being asked if “black lives matter,” according to the victim. Moses Brundyy, 20, was walking to work at about 7 a.m. Saturday when he was approached by a stranger near the Ballard Market. “He asked me how I feel about black lives matter,” he said. “I told him they do. I repeated black lives matter, and he basically got me on the ground within the first punch. He started beating me up and just continued with it, and I was knocked unconscious.”
