Berg took the time to Blame Bush for the killings Al-Zarqawi has bragged about. Berg also suggested that assertions that Al-Zarqawi is involved with murders is actually a fabrication by the Bush administration. Furthermore, he criticised Bush for "destabilizing" Iraq.
