Sheriff's investigators conducted a search of Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch on Friday, a department spokesman said. Sgt. Chris Pappas confirmed that a warrant was served at the rural estate but he would not release any more information. Jackson has already been charged with child molestation, and his Neverland ranch was searched previously in the case. He faces trial next year. The search warrant was served at 9 a.m. and investigators remained there into the late morning, Pappas said. Attorneys on both sides are barred from commenting on the case. Exactly what happened is a matter of dispute, but interviews with several sources close to Jackson and the accuser's family reveal one consistent thread: The documentary set in motion a series of events that led to the pop star's arrest last month. The TV special, broadcast worldwide last February to...

Ten days after the arrest of Michael Jackson on charges that the 45- year-old pop singer sexually molested a 12-year-old boy at his Neverland ranch in Santa Barbara, gallons of ink and hours of airtime have been devoted to his reported accuser, a previous reported accuser, Jackson's supposed sexual predilections and sleeping habits, and a private jet ride that was surreptitiously videotaped.
