I am trying to start a discussion and do research on the misuse of SSDI. Many providers are watching many people use disability in the Mental Health and orthpedic fields have a picnic at taxpayer expense. (AP) - A former school board member received a two-year suspended jail sentence Thursday for charging more than $2,000 on a district-issued credit card while he was no longer on the board. Basil Kimbrew, 51, pleaded no contest to a charge of misappropriation of public money. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend improperly used federal funds for political purposes, according to interviews with former employees of the agency and records subpoenaed as part of the probe.
