In June, an American scientist discovered that more than 200 genetic sequences from COVID-19 patient samples isolated in China early in the pandemic had puzzlingly been removed... Wuhan University...sequenced a short stretch of genetic material from virus samples taken from 34 patients at a Wuhan hospital. The researchers posted their findings online in March 2020. That month, they also uploaded the sequences to an online database called the Sequence Read Archive, which is maintained by the National Institutes of Health... Bloom became aware of the Wuhan sequences this spring while researching origin of COVID-19. Reading a May 2020 review about...

The Federal Aviation Administration is missing key information on who owns one-third of the 357,000 private and commercial aircraft in the U.S. — a gap the agency fears could be exploited by terrorists and drug traffickers. The records are in such disarray that the FAA says it is worried that criminals could buy planes without the government's knowledge, or use the registration numbers of other aircraft to evade new computer systems designed to track suspicious flights. It has ordered all aircraft owners to re-register their planes in an effort to clean up its files.About 119,000 of the aircraft on the U.S....

This paper resulted from four years of study into the background of the individuals and movement responsible for the attacks on the US homeland on September 11, 2001. While that date has been seared into the memories of Americans, it was not the first time that deadly attacks were carried out against Americans on American and foreign soils, by members of this movement. The first attack on the World Trade Center, the embassy bombings in Africa, the USS Cole incident in Yemen and the attack on the Khobar Tower in Saudi Arabia are all reflective of this implacable enemy, whose...

Several weeks ago, an employee of the VA took home electronic data and his home was burglarized. (wonderful) The data included names, social security #'s and dates of birth (Fantastic!) Today I got a letter from the VA stating the problem and what they are doing about it. (That's good) The letter warned us if we notice any "suspicious activity" to notify the Federal Trade Commission (Oh boy!) Sigh. Only if the employee just followed the "established policies"! Anyway, here's to my SS#, my full name floating around the country/world for anybody to use as they see fit. Geesh. Here...
