A bedtime ritual for a South Carolina toddler is touching the hearts of thousands. Kathryn and Caleb Whitt, of Seneca, South Carolina, were rushing to get their daughter, Sutton, in bed on Sunday night when they skipped over the ritual of bedtime prayers. Like many Carolinians on Sunday night, the couple was cheering on the Panthers in the NFC championship game and didn't want to miss the end of it. "We started hearing noises upstairs," said Kathryn Whitt, a preschool teacher. "We then pulled up the baby monitor on my cell phone and hit record." To the surprise of her...

A decision by Italian officials to cover up ancient nude statues to not offend Iran's visiting president is drawing ridicule in Rome. Ahead of a news conference Monday with Premier Matteo Renzi and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, wooden panels were erected around some Roman statues in Rome's Capitoline Museums. When images of the cover-up made the Italian media Tuesday, politicians from across the spectrum decried and derided the decision. The museum said Tuesday that the premier's office wanted the statues along Rouhani's path to the news conference covered up. Renzi's office declined to comment. ...

A new Massachusetts gun permit essay rule has Second Amendment supporters seeing red. Gun owners in the state must now write an essay which will be “graded†for approval by the police chief before a carry permit can be issued. A hefty firearms training price tag up to $1,100 will also be levied against those attempting to exercise their right to bear arms in the city of Lowell. Lowell, Massachusetts, is located about 35 miles north of Boston and is home to some 110,000 people. The gun essay law was the brainchild of Police Chief William Taylor and approved by...

A 2013 video, obtained exclusively by Fox News, raises fresh questions about how Hillary Clinton handled sensitive information at the State Department. In the video, veteran diplomat Wendy Sherman reveals that in the interest of speed, Clinton and her aides would share information that "would never be on an unclassified system" normally. The questions surround a 2013 speech in which Sherman compared the technology differences between serving at the State Department in the administrations of President Bill Clinton and President Obama. "Now we have BlackBerrys, and it has changed the way diplomacy is done," Sherman, who was undersecretary of state...

January 26, 2016 - One of the distinguishing values embraced by us New Yorkers is the pleasure we take in disparaging the fine Americans who do not live within fifty miles of salt water. Click here to enjoy a garden-variety example of an arrogant New Yorker indulging his snobby elitism to dump on flyover country. And yet, consider how New Yorkers squeal when the flownovers push back at them. Note the rage that has been directed at Ted Cruz for taking up the other side of Trump's elitism - how dare that Ted Cruz! Today's Wall Street Journal published a...

The Opening of the Key to the Electric Universe Criticized, ostracized, derided, scorned and rebuked; Cuvier and Schaeffer. These two French eccentric geniuses ranged their new practical paradigms against the sanitized teachings of the Royal Societys consensus science. Georges Cuvier and then later Claude Schaeffer, dared question the hidebound uniformitarian teachings demanded by the Royal Societys geology darlings, Hutton and Lyle. They insisted that the worlds development was a slow evolutionary process explained by millions of years of uniform steady change. This misneme eventually influenced Darwin to explain evolution as a child of slow natural selection that, by chance, produced...

Tablets on New England Patriots' sideline fail, preventing coaches and players from using the devices to review plays. Microsoft's tablet partnership with the National Football League has not always been smooth. After Microsoft struck a reported $400 million deal in 2013 with the NFL to have its Surfaces exclusively on team sidelines for reviewing plays, TV commentators kept referring to them as "iPads." At the time, it was said that networks were constantly reminding their talkers that the Surface looks nothing like an iPad and should therefore be referred to by its actual name. Microsoft suffered another public black eye...

Muslim airline pilots planned to bomb four UK citiesIf their plot had succeeded, would the British government have awakened to the reality of the global jihad? No, it would have commissioned a blue-ribbon study of "islamophobia." And of course anyone who suggests that it might be unwise to hire Muslims as airline pilots is a racist-islamophobic-antimuslim-bigot. "RAF 'foiled ISIS airline terror plot to bomb four UK cities after cracking pop song code,'" by Steve Robson, Mirror, January 24, 2016

In 2008, America elected a demagogue who was hailed as a savior to his people. He used Alinsky tactics and a divide-and-conquer approach to bully his way through the election--and after. Taking the same approach in this election just because your demagogue is saying what you want to hear sounds a lot like the definition of insanity.

That's one way to bring humor to a snowy situation. A man donned a dinosaur costume to shovel snow in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. His wife, Amy Saxon White, told ABC News that he got the costume for Halloween and he loves to dress up for the kids. He decided to put the costume back on in the snow to give a friend a laugh, she said. White posted the photo to Facebook around 9 a.m. today and it already has over 2 million views. "Only my hubs," the caption reads. Kentucky is one of many states that has declared a...

"I'm really good at killing people," Barack Obama once allegedly said. The origin of the quote is the 2013 book "Double Down" by veteran political journalists Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, who cite unnamed Obama aides as their source. The two reporters have journalistic credits even a liberal would respect--The New Yorker, The Economist, and MSNBC, to name a few. Some people choose not to give the quote credence because its source is anonymous and it wasn't caught on tape. Skepticism surrounding anonymous quotes is of course understandable though I surmise that most doubters have political motives. People who are...

We don't know their names and don't know their story. We don't know why they scheduled an abortion and apparently changed their mind at the last minute and chose life for their baby. But it doesn't matter because anyone who is pro-life can simply celebrate this young couple, their sign, and their beautiful baby. There will be thousands and thousands of pro-life signs at the March for Life tomorrow. This may very well be the best one we see. Thanks to Lila Rose for posting this on Twitter and allowing millions of people to rejoice right along with this young couple....
