A transgender teenager has pleaded guilty to murder after opening fire on fellow students who he says bullied him. Alec McKinney faces a life sentence over the shooting rampage at the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) School near Denver, Colorado, that left one student dead and injured eight more on May 7. McKinney's friend Devon Erickson, 19, is also accused of carrying out the attack, and pleaded not guilty last month to the same charges of murder and attempted murder. Kendrick Castillo, an 18-year-old pupil at the school in Highlands Ranch, was fatally shot when he charged one of...

It's a statement that's as predictable as it is infuriating: President Donald Trump's administration lacks diversity. On Tuesday, Trump tweeted photos of a briefing he'd received on the new coronavirus spreading out of China. "We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments," the President said in his post. "We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!" Who are these experts? They're largely the same sorts of white men (and a couple women on the sidelines) who've dominated the Trump administration from the very beginning. By contrast, former President Barack Obama's circle...

In a press conference on Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi took the opportunity to grandstand rather than responding to a reporter's question. She insisted that even if the U.S. Senate votes against convicting and removing President Donald Trump, he would not be acquitted. Pelosi also went on to say Trump does not know right from wrong. The reporter asked whether Pelosi expects Trump to be "chastened" by the impeachment process or "emboldened because the Senate will have acquitted him." Rather than answering the question, the House speaker launched into a diatribe against Republicans. "Well, he will not be acquitted. You...

Journalism professor Jason Johnson claimed President Trump could threaten to end voting in blue states if the Senate acquits him. "Imagine Donald Trump deciding, sometime in June, 'Well, I heard this conspiracy theory that a whole lot of illegal immigrants voted in California. So, I've decided that, during the presidential election, California has to undergo extreme vetting,'" the MSNBC pundit said Thursday. "This is literally the kind of thing he will do now. We’re not talking hypotheticals, anymore."

“We need a president who will lift up the voices of every gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, queer, Two-Spirt and intersex person,” . . . Warren vows that she will immediately use unilaterally presidential action—not congressionally enacted legislation—to advance LGBTQ+ rights.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is calling for men's restrooms to include tampons in order to prevent discrimination against "every person who menstruates." "While free menstrual products are not uniformly provided in women’s restrooms, they are almost never available in men’s restrooms, even for pay," the group said in a statement Tuesday. "Men’s restrooms are also less likely to have a place to dispose of these products conveniently, privately, and hygienically." The left-leaning legal group argued that it wasn't a "full or accurate portrayal" to say that women are the only ones who "menstruate, get pregnant, or breast feed...

After two days of hearings and one Democratic debate, the women of The View had plenty to talk about on Thursday morning, and they didn’t hold back. When Behar, filling in for regular moderator Whoopi Goldberg, asked the panel if Trump is starting to get nervous, the panel was split. While Sunny Hostin said that Trump “appeared to be coming undone” in a Wednesday press conference, Abby Huntsman insisted that he isn’t, as “90% of Republicans still support this president,” and they likely will “until you can point to a crime that the president committed.” “Baloney!” replied Behar. “They’re in...

Liberal author begs 'normal people' not to wear sports teams' MAGA-like red caps: 'You're making everyone scared' Has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" literally gone to liberals' heads? An author who has been a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award received backlash on Twitter after likening President Trump's red “Make America Great Again” hats to the Nazi swastika -- and urging "normal people" (i.e., non-Trump voters) to avoid wearing any type of red hat, saying they'd be “making people scared” by doing so. The Chicago-based author, Rebecca Makkai, 41, made the remarks in a string of tweets beginning over...

British actor-comedian Ricky Gervais has been branded “transphobic” by LGBT activists after he defended the right of women not to wax the testicles of a transgender person who identifies as a woman. The debate started after Gervais weighed in on a recent controversy in Canada, where an immigrant woman who ran a Brazilian waxing business was forced to shut down after being sued for refusing to wax a transgender woman’s genitalia. Another fifteen other female business owners have also been taken to court by the same trans individual, who argues that their refusal amounts to gender discrimination.

AJO, Ariz. — Ever since federal agents arrested a local activist for helping two illegal immigrants in this parched desert town near the Mexican border last year, residents are thinking twice about being good Samaritans. “I guess I’ll have to start asking for ID if I want to give anyone a glass of water,” said Jose Castillo, 80, who has lived his whole life in this former copper mining enclave, where temperatures top 110 degrees in summer. The retired mechanic belongs to Ajo Samaritans, a local Catholic aid organization that often leaves jugs of water in the desert for Central...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton claimed that president Donald Trump is "is running scared" from Nancy Pelosi after falsely accusing him of spreading a “doctored” video of the House speaker. Clinton also claimed Trump posed a “Constitutional crisis” to the country.“Just look at what’s happened in the last 24 hours, the president and his cronies have been running around spreading a doctored video of Nancy Pelosi,” she said.

The curtains were…closed? Ok, now it’s all beginning to make “sense.” From “Russian collusion,” to “obstruction of justice,” and now: cover-up! Yes folks, the WH windows were covered up with curtains! POTUS needs to be impeached for covering up…the windows! Or something.

Devon Erickson, an 18-year-old high school student who has worked as a youth actor in Colorado, was identified by authorities as one of the two shooters accused of wounding nine students in a K-12 STEM school located in Douglas County. One of those students, 18-year-old Kendrick Castillo, died in the attack. Devon Erickson’s Facebook page says he lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. John Fenton, a news producer with CBS Denver, wrote that the “car towed from #stemshooting suspect’s home apparently has ‘F*** SOCIETY’ spray painted on the side. Also ‘666’ and a what looks like a pentagram sprayed on the...

The adherents of both left-wing and right-wing philosophy have knowledge; however, the left-wingers got their knowledge from the system of beliefs, while right-wingers got their knowledge from the trial-and-error development of human civilization. Leftism will accompany society forever because pseudo-science always runs in parallel to science. There is a simple test to distinguish between scientific knowledge and the pseudo-scientific kind. The test is based on the fact that the human reaction to new information that contradicts the original knowledge depends on the method of acquiring that original knowledge. In the real world, if new information contradicts the original knowledge, it...

Chris Evans says he ‘might have to cut ties’ with Tom Brady: ‘I really hope he’s not a Trump supporter’ “Captain America” star Chris Evans talked politics in a recent interview and said he “really” hopes the quarterback of his favorite team, Tom Brady, is not a supporter of President Trump. Evans, 37, conducted a tell-all interview with The Hollywood Reporter that was published Wednesday. The discussion turned to politics when the issue of the actor's vocal political views on social media came up. "You don't want to alienate half your audience," Evans told magazine of his tweets. "But I'd...

The “Captain America” star has been to Capitol Hill to conduct interviews for the website with Sens. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, Chris Coons, D-Del., Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, as well as lawmakers in the House. Full Title: Nation's Psychiatric Wards Prepare For Influx Of Deranged Liberals Should Mueller Report Not Prove Collusion U.S.—The nation's psychiatric wards are preparing themselves for an influx of deranged liberals, as Robert Mueller's official report into Russian collusion has now been filed with the attorney general. As it now seems unlikely that the report will provide definitive proof that President Trump colluded with Russia during his 2016 campaign, psych wards and mental health facilities began bracing themselves for a wave of psychotic, disillusioned liberals to be checked in by their friends and family members. "We haven't really had to get...

Four years ago, I wrote about my decision to live as a woman in The New York Times, writing that I had wanted to live “authentically as the woman that I have always been,” and had “effectively traded my white male privilege to become one of America’s most hated minorities.” Three years ago, I decided that I was neither male nor female, but non-binary—and made headlines after an Oregon judge agreed to let me identify as a third sex, not male or female. Now, I want to live again as the man that I am. I’m one of the lucky...

Turns out liberals are the real authoritarians. A political-science journal that published an oft-cited study claiming conservatives were more likely to show traits associated with “psychoticism” now says it got it wrong. Very wrong. The American Journal of Political Science published a correction this year saying that the 2012 paper has “an error” — and that liberal political beliefs, not conservative ones, are actually linked to psychoticism. “The interpretation of the coding of the political attitude items in the descriptive and preliminary analyses portion of the manuscript was exactly reversed,” the journal said in the startling correction.
