US Army Combat Medic Specialist Mason "Doc" Steill was seriously injured in Kandahar, Afghanistian, on June 1, 2012, by an I.E.D. The blast devastated his face, blinded an eye and left him without the top jaw or palette. He is recovering at Walter Reed. Family is asking for cards to be sent to him.
