The mayors of New York City and Washington, DC urged their cities’ homeless populations to seek shelter Sunday as a “cold-blooded killer” who had shot at least five vagrants remained on the loose. A lone gunman is suspected of targeting sleeping homeless men in a series of shootings in DC and the Big Apple this month that has so far left two men dead and three others wounded. New York Mayor Eric Adams and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser said they were coordinating with federal authorities to investigate the crimes before he strikes again.

A would-be ghostbuster got busted up when she fell 15 to 20 feet through the roof of an abandoned train station in Buffalo, local reports said. The 35-year-old woman and a man were taking part in a paranormal investigation of the Buffalo Central Terminal on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. when she plunged through the top of a substation, according to reports. Vandals broke into Rep. Debbie Dingell’s Michigan office, and trashed some items belonging to her deceased husband, the congresswoman said on Monday. Authorities searched Marilyn Manson’s West Hollywood home Monday as part of a probe into sexual assault claims, a report said. Manson was not at the home when investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department entered to execute the warrant, according to TMZ, which cited law enforcement sources. The FBI is investigating the possibility that union boss Jimmy Hoffa’s body is buried in a former landfill in Jersey City under the Pulaski Skyway, a report said. The search was sparked after a tip passed down from a worker who said he buried Hoffa in a steel drum just outside of the former PJP Landfill, now Skyway Park, the New York Times said.
