<p>The reaction over a gay retreat in rural Grant Parish has sparked some intense dialogue among the gay community in central Louisiana.</p> <p>All the talk in the Cenla gay community surfaced after some Grant Parish ministers said they would hold a March 5 prayer vigil to condemn homosexuality and the presence of the camp.</p>

<p>POLLOCK - A camp "where gay folk begin a journey of discovery" will be in operation from March through November near Pollock, and that has some area residents concerned.</p> <p>Although Manitou Woods is not billed as a nudist camp, there is a picture on its Web site showing a group of nude men outdoors at the camp. A manitou is a spirit or supernatural force believed in by the Algonquian Indians.</p>
