PUBLIC DISCOURSE — When a child says he is transgender, we are expected nowadays to accept and celebrate this announcement. But there are many parents who are not celebrating. They are suffering in silence. They know their children were not born in the wrong bodies and that hormones and surgeries are not the answers to their discomfort and confusion. Their stories are heartbreaking. Here is one, in her own words. My daughter, at age fourteen, spontaneously decided that she is actually a male. After suffering multiple traumatic events in her life and spending a large amount of time on the...

A 23-year-old woman who had her uterus and breasts removed at UW Hospital after a self-diagnosis of gender dysphoria that she said was not confirmed by a doctor is suing the hospital and two UW surgeons, alleging they operated on her without proper informed consent. Dr. Jay Lick performed a hysterectomy when the patient was 19, and Dr. Katherine Gast did a double mastectomy when she was 21, as gender-affirming procedures at the hospital, according to the lawsuit filed Wednesday in Dane County Circuit Court. The patient, who lives in Chicago, identified as lesbian, explored if she was transgender and...

I’ve written about Dr. Riittakerttu Kaltiala before. She was one of the leading doctors who dealt with pediatric gender identity patients in Finland and recently she’s become a critic of the model known as gender-affirming care. Monday, the Free Press published a lengthy essay by Dr. Kaltiala in which she outlines her personal involvement in this issue and what she believes about it now.Her story really starts in 2011 when a group of Dutch doctors published a paper arguing that teens (primarily males) could be given hormones to prevent puberty and allow them to pass more easily as women. This...

The transgender movement is pressing its agenda everywhere. Most publicly, activist teachers are using classrooms to propagandize on its behalf and activist health professionals are promoting the mutilation of children under the euphemistic banner of “gender-affirming care.” The sudden and pervasive rise of this movement provokes two questions: where did it come from, and how has it proved so successful? The story goes deeper than most Americans know. In the late 1980s, a group of academics, including Judith Butler, Gayle Rubin, Sandy Stone, and Susan Stryker, established the disciplines of “queer theory” and “transgender studies.” These academics believed gender to...

Dr. Riittakerttu Kaltiala, 58, is a Finnish-born and trained adolescent psychiatrist, the chief psychiatrist in the department of adolescent psychiatry at Finland’s Tampere University Hospital. She treats patients, teaches medical students, and conducts research in her field—publishing more than 230 scientific articles. In 2011, Dr. Kaltiala was assigned a new responsibility. She was to oversee the establishment of a gender identity service for minors, making her among the first physicians in the world to head a clinic devoted to the treatment of gender-distressed young people. Since then, she has personally participated in the assessments of more than 500 such adolescents....

According to an analysis, published this month in the International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research, of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine clinical trial data, the vaccine makers hid fatality data from regulators in order to qualify for Emergency Use Authorization Pfizer-BioNTech delayed reporting vaccine-associated deaths among BNT162b2 clinical trial participants until after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the product. The vaccine makers also failed to account for a large number of subjects who dropped out of the trial. Together, these strategies kept regulators and the public ignorant of a 3.7-fold increase...

Canada's all-out effort to maximize the vaccination of its population against covid seems to have had an officially unanticipated side-effect. More than 70% of those vaccinated now have Vaccine Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (VAIDS). Data now show that the vaccinated segment of the population is now 3.8 times more likely to become infected with the disease and 3.3 times more likely to die of it than people who have not been vaccinated. The explanation for this unexpected greater susceptibility of the vaccinated cohort is the vaccine's deleterious effect on the body's immune system. Internationally acclaimed covid expert Dr. Anthony Fauci...

When you think about the common procedure of getting a contraceptive implant, it’s not often associated with open-heart surgery, but for one young Victorian woman, this is an uncomfortable reality. Cloe Westerway, aged 22, underwent a standard routine procedure to have an Implanon inserted two years ago in a women’s health clinic, but in the following days, things started to take a turn. Cloe began experiencing heart palpitations, excessive sweating and heartburn symptoms and immediately knew something wasn’t quite right. When the doctors tried to remove the implant, there was one problem: they couldn’t find it, with subsequent scans revealing...

A third of trans children treated with puberty blockers had their mental health deteriorate while on the medication, a new analysis of a landmark study reveals. The original study found that 44 children, aged 12 to 15, who took the controversial drugs experienced no change — good or bad — to their mental health. This report, produced by experts from the NHS's Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) at Tavistock and University College London Hospitals (UCLH) in 2021 eventually led to a lowering of the age children could access puberty blockers. But a fresh analysis of the data used in the...

Nicole Solas, who has written for Legal Insurrection, tells this amazing story. It’s incredible how quickly this ideology spread into everything. From the Daily Caller:SOLAS: My Pediatrician Discharged My Kids Because I Objected To Gender IdeologyI didn’t know that asking for an exam room free from sexualization and gender ideology would cause my pediatrician to discharge my kids from her care.My now-former pediatrician installed on the wall of every exam room a “Safe Zone” rainbow triangle sticker with the words “sexual orientation,” “gender expression,” and “gender identity.” Meticulously placed in front of the exam table and at a child’s eye level,...

Luka Hein, who is now 21 years old, is suing the doctors who allegedly rushed her into transgender surgery at the age of 16, removing both her breasts. Hein spoke with the Daily Mail, telling the outlet the surgery has left her with daily pain. They also pumped her full of hormone treatments that could possibly rob her of being a mother one day. During her teens, Hein’s parents went through a bitter divorce. A series of events after that led to doctors convincing her parents that if they didn’t push her to become transgender she would commit suicide. The...

A Minnesota woman who has decided to detransition from a transgender male is suing the doctors who performed a double mastectomy on her when she was just 16. Luka Hein, now 21, claims she was going through a tough time emotionally as a teenager, when her parents were getting divorced and when she was being groomed online by a man from another state. As she struggled with her mental health during this time, she said she found influencers online who extolled the virtues of breast surgery and hormones. Hein then met with staff members at the University of Nebraska Medical...

The Texas Supreme Court just upheld a state law banning so-called gender-affirming care for minors, to explosive consternation from predictable quarters. Progressive commentators portray this and similar laws passed by more than a dozen Republican — controlled state legislatures as “anti-LGBTQIA+.” In truth, the laws are aimed not at that whole bramble of capital letters, but solely at the “T.” Slamming these bans histrionically as “genocide” (four in 15,000 patients of the Tavistock Clinic or on its waiting list committed suicide between 2010 and 2020, but according to propaganda it’s up to 50 percent of trans kids who try to...

A "horrified" hospital employee at Kaiser Permanente leaked a sex change training for diversity, equity and inclusion, which promoted the idea that a 3-year-old can be transgender. "The employee, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of losing her job, was horrified," according to the Wednesday report from Libs of TikTok. As part of the hospital system's DEI training, medical employees were expected to watch a video with children explaining they knew they were transgender at age 3 and 4. "Many transgender people have ALWAYS known their true gender," the video said. "My name is Rose. I'm a transgender girl....

'The real question comes down to are you OK with removing healthy body parts of a child' Activists in California from both political parties are banding together to put measures on the state ballot that would ban child sex change surgeries and ensure fairness in women’s spaces, they told the Daily Caller News Foundation. Protect Kids California filed three statewide ballot initiatives Monday, and the group leaders believe they have bipartisan support on the issues. “The media and the California legislators make it seem that it’s a Democrat versus Republican issue, but it’s not. I would say the majority of...

One of California’s largest school districts reportedly offered financial rewards to teachers who attended a webinar with advocates who encourage children with gender dysphoria to receive cross-sex hormones or undergo body-altering surgeries. The Los Angeles Unified School District invited teachers to attend a webinar last week titled “The Wellbeing of Sexual and Gender Diverse Girls” in exchange for three Continuing Education credits and hours to use towards salary points, The Daily Wire reported. The Los Angeles Unified School District did not immediately respond to The Christian Post’s request for comment. The webinar featured Aydin Olson-Kennedy, a female licensed clinical social...

CREDIT: Screenshot/NBC News Over the weekend we covered the heartbreaking story of a child whose medical "transition" was captured on video. One clip that was posted to X/Twitter, which is from a 2012 NBC News story, shows an 11-year-old child who was a biological boy preparing to have hormone blockers implanted. In one clip the child, whose name had been legally changed from Joseph to Josie, asks his mother, "Sometimes I think I’m a boy kinda.. Will you love me if I’m a boy?" In another, filmed at the doctor's office, shows Josie crying and clearly uncomfortable as the...

The coordinated attack on trans rights in state legislatures across the US is built on a foundation of hateful paranoia and right-wing lies. But however unpopular anti-trans bills are, the human costs are real: thousands are migrating from anti-trans states.
