When you think about the common procedure of getting a contraceptive implant, it’s not often associated with open-heart surgery, but for one young Victorian woman, this is an uncomfortable reality.
Cloe Westerway, aged 22, underwent a standard routine procedure to have an Implanon inserted two years ago in a women’s health clinic, but in the following days, things started to take a turn.
Cloe began experiencing heart palpitations, excessive sweating and heartburn symptoms and immediately knew something wasn’t quite right. When the doctors tried to remove the implant, there was one problem: they couldn’t find it, with subsequent scans revealing the 1.5 inch rod had ventured into her pulmonary artery.

Time to change your perspective young lady.
Instead of offering your womanhood free of consequences, find a young man that wants a family and work on being a good mother.

The medical community that for years has given us shots in our butts now thinks it's best to put contraceptives in the arms.

But “discussing all risks” with them will make this outrage A-OK in the future.

The medical community that for years has given us shots in our butts now thinks it's best to put contraceptives in the arms. How do you know it's not the best place for an implant? Have you heard of this happening a lot?
Because it's the first one I've ever heard about.

No guy in his right mind wants to enter into a one-sided marriage contract today.
It depends on the woman. My wife is a traditional Catholic, and our Faith, which is shared by her family and most of our friends, puts a check on the temptation to bail out. She's not big on that going to Hell thing (or even an extended stay in Purgatory if she rationalizes that result). I am not big on it either, and that helps keep me in check.
Finally, I am the only bread-winner, and of moderate means. Any blow-up would be financially MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction).

True it does depend on the woman but its still a big gamble most many men just aren’t willing to take anymore. I have personally seen too may men’s lives ruined from marriage to take the chance with anyone.

Then make sure you are right with God.
Everyone dies some time. It’s not if but when and how.
If you die, you die. Nothing you can do about it.
