Obama is disqualified because he is not a U.S. Citizen...House and Senate try an endrun to amend the constitution, Bush vetos, an emergency convention is held...Biden thinks he's a shoe in...but no...it is Hillary at the top of the ticket after all. She keeps Biden as her VP. Obama supporters scream "disenfranchisement!" and don't show up to vote. Everyone shows up at the booth, sees Obama/Biden on the ballot, they know they are voting for Clinton/Biden but seeing Obama's name consumes them with distrust and Dems in overwhelming numbers vote McCain/Palin who win in a landslide.
