BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC — A Washington woman is behind bars after online records state she kicked a pregnant school resource officer in the stomach during a disturbance at a Beaufort County elementary school. Deputies arrested 44-year-old Khadeeja Muhammad Thursday at John Small Elementary School. She’s charged with assault on a government official, assault on a pregnant woman, resisting a public officer, trespassing, and disorderly conduct at a school.
