Foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri arrived in Tehran on a two-day visit on Tuesday. During his stay in Tehran, Mr Kasuri will hold talks with his Iranian counterpart Manocher Mottaki on ways to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in various fields. ISLAMABAD, Aug 31: Pakistan and Israel are all set to have the first overt high-level political contact on Thursday. In what is seen as a major diplomatic development the foreign ministers of the two countries will meet in Istanbul, informed sources told Dawn on Wednesday. The meeting between Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri and his Israeli counterpart Silvan Shalom is taking place in response to Israel’s keenness to establish contact with Pakistan, it is learnt. Washington, June 10 (PTI) Asserting that it's opposition to the expansion of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) was "not India-specific", Pakistan has said it rejects the concept of permanent members itself. Foreign Minister Khurshid M Kasuri, who addressed the Brookings Institution yesterday, said "Our policy is not India specific ...
