Even if you are not shopping for a Glock 42, this is still an excellent comparison of many single stack pistols on the market. There are almost an overwhelming number of options for a .380 or 9mm concealed carry weapon. Hopefully this video helped you glean some information.

Kahr Firearms Group announced Wednesday that it will relocate its corporate offices from New York to Pennsylvania, and blames New York’s Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act as reason why. “We’re looking for a more friendly environment for our business,” Frank Harris, Kahr’s vice president for sales and marketing, told the Associated Press. “Maybe we could have stayed here and built a plant, but the way the bill was passed left us feeling there were a lot of uncertainties going forward.” Kahr is the first gun company to announce that it will move out of New York. It’s relocating its...

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) -- A firearms manufacturer in New York, partially blaming the state's new gun control law, said Wednesday it's moving its corporate offices — and its plans for expansion — to Pennsylvania. Kahr Firearms Group of Pearl River is the first gunmaker to announce it's leaving because of the Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act, which was put into law after closed-door negotiations in January. It was the first law in the nation prompted by the killing of 20 first-graders and six educators in Newtown, Conn., in December. "We're looking for a more friendly environment for our...

A gun manufacturer is considering buying the entire 620-acre Pike County business park for $2 million to escape an unfriendly gun climate in New York. Kahr Firearms Group would move its corporate headquarters from in Pearl River, N.Y., to Pike County, bringing a some 100 jobs, company spokesman Frank Harris said. Some jobs will be temporary construction, others will be administrative and manufacturing. The business would be built in phases. Already the company has hired engineering, legal and real estate firms to work on the project. It is conducting an executive search for an operations manager to oversee the building...

(CNSNews.com) – Pakistani Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar told CNN's "Situation Room" last week that if freedom of speech in the United States provokes people in the Muslim and Arab world to take actions against Americans then “maybe we do need to rethink how much freedom is okay.” CNN's Wolf Blitzer told Khar that the previous day he had interviewed Prof. Fouad Ajami of Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Blitzer had asked Ajami: "Is this going to get better, this relationship between America and the Muslim and Arab world?" Ajami had responded: "No. That really is the honest answer. I mean,...

After renting and testing several different handguns at the range for the past couple of weeks, I came across a gun that I thought was best suited to be my first handgun. A Kahr K9. It fits me great, and I shot well with it. I also liked the conceal ability of it. I think 7 +1 rounds is adequate for self defense purposes. I am considering US made guns only, and had been leaning towards 1911’s. However the K9 gives more bang for the buck, compared to a well made 1911. I have tried revolvers too, but decided that...

Hi all, don't know if you've seen my previous threads, but I'm in the market for a conceal/carry (pocket) handgun....thanks much for your awesome advice. I've almost landed on the new Kahr 380 for a variety of reasons...mostly the size (I know I'd pocket-carry everywhere) and Kahr's reputation. The smallest 9mm I've found is still to big to pocket-carry, and the .40 is for sure way to big. Anyway, curious to know if you have any comments or feedback. Thanks in advance, Scott
