The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killed Hezbollah’s chief of media relations, Mohammed Afif, in an airstrike in Beirut on Sunday, according to Reuters. Reuters reported: An Israeli strike on a building in a densely populated district of Beirut on Sunday killed Hezbollah’s media relations chief Mohammad Afif, two Lebanese security sources told Reuters, though there was no immediate confirmation from Hezbollah. The Israeli military declined to comment in response to questions from Reuters. There was no evacuation order for the area published on the Israeli military spokesperson’s account on social media platform X before the strike.

Hundreds of Israeli Jews traveled to the ancient site of Shiloh, where the Ark of the Covenant and the Tabernacle resided for hundreds of years, to pray for former President Donald Trump’s success in the upcoming U.S. elections. VINews reported: The prayer took place in Ancient Shiloh, and was attended by [Binyamin Regional Council head Yisrael] Ganz and by hundreds of worshippers who prayed from the site of the Mishkan for the success of former President Trump in the U.S. elections, and in support of the shared values between the American nation and the State of Israel. In recent years,...

Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) appeared to destroy his own party’s argument against former President Donald Trump by saying that he would honor the election result — if it were “free and fair.” Democrats’ closing argument against Trump in the 2024 election has been that Trump is a “wannabe dictator,” and their evidence is — once again — the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. But now Raskin, and others, seem to be saying that they, too, would be open to challenging election results if they believed the election had been “stolen.”

Israel’s retaliatory attack on Iran’s missile facilities and air defenses on Saturday is a major win for the West — and a major setback for the Iranian regime, as well as for Russia and China, which back it. Though Iran officially minimized the impact of the attack, it severely damaged Iran’s ability to threaten its neighbors, and left it virtually defenseless in future. It also boosted a pro-Western alliance against the “Axis of Resistance” propped up by Moscow and Beijing.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) released photos of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) preparing for its overnight mission attacking Iran’s missile sites and air defenses — and the photos included several female pilots and crew members. As Breitbart News reported, the attack came in retaliation for massive Iranian attacks on Israel in April and early October. The strikes appeared to have been limited to military targets, not oil and gas industry sites or nuclear sites.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris both failed to call Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after an Iranian-backed assassination attempt by Hezbollah on Saturday when a drone hit his private residence. As Breitbart News reported, Hezbollah launched three drones at Israel. Two were downed, but a third reached the personal home of Netanyahu and his wife. They were not home at the time and there were no injuries as a result.

The Houthis fired a surface-to-surface missile that reached Israel at 6:32 a.m. on Sunday morning, local time, triggering sirens all over the area near Tel Aviv, but exploding in an open area without causing any damage. The missile was detected in the midst of the morning news broadcast on Army Radio, taking the announcer by surprise. At first, it was unclear whether the sirens had been caused because of rockets fired from the south (Hamas) or the north (Hezbollah); then a report came that it had actually entered Israeli airspace from the east, sparking speculation that it had been fired...

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a large floating accumulation of debris in the Pacific Ocean, can be cleaned up within 10 years at a cost of $7.5 billion — or within five years with a more aggressive strategy costing $4 billion. That’s according to the Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization that has led the fight to remove the dangerous plastic from the Pacific — most of which, it says, consists of discarded fishing equipment from Japan and China. The patch is one of the world’s most pressing environmental problems — one that Vice President Kamala Harris said, incorrectly, can be...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to criticism Monday from President Joe Biden by saying that pressuring Israel, in the wake of Hamas’s murder of six hostages, will only encourage Hamas to kill more hostages. Netanyahu, speaking at a press briefing, delivered a presentation almost entirely in Hebrew. He began by noting that Israel is in an existential struggle for survival against a brutal enemy. He apologized — as he had done before — to the families of the six murdered hostages, including American-Israeli Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who were killed as Israeli soldiers neared the location underground where they were being...

NBC News’ Meet the Press admitted Sunday that anchor Kristen Welker had been incorrect to say that Vice President Kamala Harris had met the families of Americans killed in Afghanistan — though it also botched the correction. In an interview with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Welker challenged the Republican over former President Donald Trump’s visit last week to Arlington National Cemetery to pay his respects to the 13 fallen American soldiers on the third anniversary of the terror attack on Abbey Gate at the international airport in Kabul. The Harris/Walz campaign accused Trump of politicizing the memorial, amid controversy over...

Egypt and Jordan, two countries that have peace treaties with Israel, condemned the Israeli rescue of four hostages on Saturday — as did officials from the European Union (EU) and United Nations (UN) — over Palestinian casualties. As Breitbart News reported, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Israel Police, and Israel Security Agency (ISA) rescued four hostages: Noa Argamani, 25; Almog Meir Jan, 21,; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 40. The commander of the elite Israeli police anti-terror “Yamam” unit, Arnon Zamora, was wounded in the attack and later died in the hospital. Palestinian sources claimed that over 200 people...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) joined an anti-Israel commentator this week in blaming the Abraham Accords peace deal and the opening of the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem for Hamas’s massive terror attack on Israel on October 7. “AOC” also agreed that Trump’s recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights — which are not claimed by Palestinians, but were taken from Syria in a defensive war — was also “directly” responsible for October 7.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his government on Sunday that international leaders who are pushing for elections in the midst of the war are trying to “paralyze the country,” forcing Israel to stop fighting and lose the war. Netanyahu did not name President Joe Biden explicitly, but spoke in the wake of Biden’s endorsement Friday of an alarming speech Thursday by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) demanding new elections in Israel to oust Netanyahu.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) issued an executive order Tuesday to establish a “Racial Equity Commission” to tackle the issue of “structural racism” in the deep-blue, liberal state. The order follows the recommendations of the state’s task force on reparations for slavery earlier this year, which recommended not only cash payments but also the establishment of racially segregated schools, described as “described as “African American/American Freedmen owned and controlled” institutions.

LOS ANGELES, California — The Los Angeles Times reports that billionaire real estate developer Rick Caruso is now losing the race for mayor to Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA) because of the Supreme Court’s June decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The Times reports that while political momentum favored Caruso’s challenge in the spring, he lost in the June primary because of Bass’s support from the party machine, and political changes — including abortion — have boosted her prospects since then:
