BANJUL, Gambia: Authorities in the West African nation of Gambia have arrested two people in a suspected plot against the US ambassador there, a US State Department official has said. The plot concerned "a possible threat" to Ambassador Jackson McDonald, the State Department official said in Washington, speaking on condition of anonymity.
