The Department of Defense has put up a petition on their website for people to sign and show support to our troops. So far, over 7.6 million people have signed it. Last year a statement headlined "Not in Our Name" denouncing military action in the War on Terror was signed by Hollywood celebrities, activists and a variety of public figures. This is our answer.

The Milwaukee Rally is growing. Charlie Sykes and Jeff Wagner will speak on behalf of the "In Our Name" petition, Milw. County Executive Scott Walker will also speak, and a special message from Congressman Paul Ryan will be read. WTMJ is providing not only Sykes and Wagner, but a sound system, banners and a ton of air-time and logistical support. Karl's Rental is providing a stage, tables, chairs and helium for balloons for the kids. The Armed Forces will provide a band. The American Legion is providing flags. Milwaukee Mega-Rally Saturday! We just got the word that TWO of our invited speakers, WTMJ talk show hosts Charley Sykes and Jeff Wagner, will both join us, and WTMJ has graciously offered to sponsor our event. There will be an opportunity to sign the "In Our Name" petition. It will take place at noon on Saturday in Cathedral Square. Bring your flags and signs, and lets show Wisconsin, America and the world that we support our troops and our president.
