Milwaukee Mega-Rally Saturday!
We just got the word that TWO of our invited speakers, WTMJ talk show hosts Charley Sykes and Jeff Wagner, will both join us, and WTMJ has graciously offered to sponsor our event. There will be an opportunity to sign the "In Our Name" petition.
It will take place at noon on Saturday in Cathedral Square.
Bring your flags and signs, and lets show Wisconsin, America and the world that we support our troops and our president.
Thanks to ReaganRenegade, The Crow, and RepublicanDiva for all their help in getting this organized.

Oh, crap! The in-laws are coming this weekend. And no, they're not in good enough health to make the drive to Milwaukee to protest.

My wife and I are from Maribel. We are not familiar with Milwaukee. Where is Cathedral Square?

Where is Cathedral Square? Take I-43 down to the Wells St. exit and head east (don't worry, you can't go west because Wells is a one-way street) to Jefferson (4th cross-street east of the Milwaukee River). Cathedral Square Park will be on your left. To get back to I-43, take Kilbourn (which is one street north of Wells) west until you hit I-43 (directions back included because "Downtown" Milwaukee is a "wee bit" confusing).

Can you give directions for those coming in from the west on I94? Also not familiar with downtown.

From I94 West, travel through the Marquette Interchange East on I794. Exit at Van Buren Street, then North on Van Buren past Wisconsin Avenue (downtown Milwaukee's main thoroughfare). Kilbourn is three blocks north of Wisconsin. Next turn Left on Kilbourn to the Square, or hunt in that area for parking.

Come on up. Take I-94 all the way into Downtown, stay straight onto I-43, and get off onto Kilbourn (the first exit after I-43 and I-94 split). Continue until you hit Cathedral Square (5 blocks past the Milwaukee River on your right).
To get back, head south on Jefferson until you hit I-794, then head left onto I-94/Chicago.

I remember attending a rally there in 2000 during that horrible election season, there was about 150+ Freepers there and what a cheer erupted when it was announced that Justice Kennedy stayed the Recount. My Parents are planning on attending, but I am almost at Final Exam time, so I am a no-go.

It was a bit closer to 400, and that was on a very chilly day that started so horribly.
