Legendary New York City radio host Bernard McGuirk has died at the age of 64 following a “courageous” battle with prostate cancer, his station announced Thursday. McGuirk — who hosted WABC’s “Bernie & Sid in the Morning” with co-host Sid Rosenberg — died Wednesday night surrounded by family at a local hospital, the station said. He had been on the air in the city since 1986 and was the executive producer of the nationally syndicated program “Imus in the Morning.” In 2007, McGuirk moved to WABC with Don Imus, the late radio icon, and his “personality from day one dramatically...

Washington -- This past Sunday brought the news to the front pages of our leading newspapers of the passing of shock jock Don Imus. Comparatively speaking, it was happy news. At least, it was happy news compared with the news that otherwise adorns the front pages of The Washington Post and The New York Times and is then repeated and repeated in the newspapers' interior pages. Most of the stories these dolorous journalists cover are stories of squalor, grief, travail and out-and-out evil. Do you doubt me? See how many cheerful stories you can find either on the front pages...

RIP old cowboy: Don Imus signed off for good yesterday. Love him or hate him he was pure Americana, a man who pulled himself up by his own bootstraps more than once. He fought and lost many battles with his twin demons vodka and cocaine before finally cleaning up. He was an equal opportunity offender and despite the fact that President Clinton was a regular call-in to his show, he took the opportunity of the 1996 annual White House Correspondence Dinner to make fun of Bubba’s womanizing - before the Monica shoe had ever dropped - and called him “a...

The controversial morning personality’s last day on the radio was on March 29 of last year. He had announced on Jan. 22 that he was retiring, telling fans: “Turn out the lights...the party's over."

For a retirement present, one New York broadcast legend has filed a lawsuit against another. Warner Wolf is taking Don Imus and three others to the New York State Supreme Court, alleging Wolf was let go from WABC’s “Imus in the Morning” show at the end of 2016 because of age discrimination and is owed severance, as well as damages for “severe mental anguish, emotional distress, humiliation,” among other maladies. Imus is scheduled to retire from his show at the end of March. He regularly makes fun of everything and everybody. In the suit, Imus is the first one named...

Mickey Horne — the guy who had a great reaction to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump being asked what he'd do about Muslims — is a Hillary Clinton supporter. But when The Donald comes to your town for a rally, you show up. "I was like ‘I can’t miss this,’ he told INSIDER. "I knew he would either attack somebody or make some outrageous comment and it’s going to be in the news cycle for a week so why would I miss that circus?" When Horne, 37, got a ticket and walked into the event, he was surprised to find...

Whoa, Don Imus really does not like Dana Perino. Last week, the Imus in the Morning FBN host went on a blistering tirade against his Fox colleague, one day after interviewing her about her new book, And the Good News Is…: Lessons and Advice from the Bright Side. The reason for his verbal lashing? Imus felt Perino walked into his studio with an attitude, and would only share “rehearsed talking points” about her book. (SNIP) First of all, she was the press secretary, that was a mercy move. They had 37 press secretaries and they found her, I mean, I...

Fox Business Network has released a revamped lineup, just one week after “Imus in the Morning” host Don Imus announced his exit from the net. FBN is replacing Imus with a Maria Bartiromo-anchored business news show, “Morning Money With Maria Bartiromo,” taking over the 6-9 a.m. timeslot and following a 5 a.m. market-focused show. Following Bartiromo’s three-hour program will be an expanded “Varney & Company,” also airing for three hours from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Neil Cavuto will take over from there in a new move to daytime, taking his “Cavuto: From Coast to Coast” from noon to 2...

On Thursday, Don Imus, whom MSNBC fired in 2007 after he referred to the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy headed hos" on the network, said he could not believe MSNBC President Phil Griffin is going to keep Martin Bashir on the air after he suggested someone should urinate or defecate in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin's mouth.

Fox Business’s Don Imus had a delicious trifecta Thursday trashing three perilously liberal journalists in less than 90 seconds. After telling Jonathan Alter to “shove” his request to come on the program and hawk his new book, Imus called Howard Fineman a “sniveling little weasel” and Jon Meacham a “phony b*st*rd” (video follows with transcript and commentary): DON IMUS: "I’m in a horrible mood because of a couple of reasons. And I don’t like it when people tell me what a great friend they are of mine, because I know it’s nonsense. And here’s, you don’t need to tell me...

Fox Business Network’s Don Imus on Tuesday tore into CNN’s handling of the Boston Marathon bombings, calling the network’s coverage “absurd and frustrating.” “Remember, there was a time whenever something would happen, we would all turn to CNN,” the “Imus in the Morning” host said. “But that was a long time ago. That was a long time ago.”

I was tuning around channels the other morning and tuned into "Imus In the Morning". He had some inane/insane comments and suddenly he went on a rant. He was defending that commie bit*h who said kids should be brought up by the "collective". He also defended the word 'collective' stating it was NOT a communist word. He called Sarah Palin a number of names, he called Rush a fat, pill popping pig plus few other nasty names. His 'sidekick' Colin McShane just sat there and agreed half heartedly (he strikes me as being terminally stupid). He ranted like a village...

Liberal Fox News legal analyst Tamara Holder said Thursday that fellow network contributor Michelle Malkin is “angry” and “probably needs to get laid.” “I don’t know her personally but I am not a fan of her debating style, I think that she probably needs to get laid,” Holder told host Don Imus on Fox Business Network. “She’s very angry.” “She needs to get laid?” Imus asked. “Yeah,” Holder replied. Imus then asked, “How’s that working out for you, by the way?” “Well not so well, but I’m not angry,” Holder said. “I cope with it in other ways.”

What is it about liberal media members making misogynistic comments towards conservative women? Take for example Bob Beckel, the co-host of Fox News's The Five, who told FBN's Don Imus a few weeks ago, "If I was Juan [Williams] I'd wake up next to [Michelle Malkin] with a shotgun" (video follows with transcript and commentary, relevant section begins at minute 1:30):

Your Super Tuesday War on Women update finds the battlefield shifting to an area that doesn’t involve any actual women. Wading into the fray this time is a well known, sober, principled, even toned observer of the human condition… Don Imus. The aging shock jock decided to add his two cents to the current kerfuffle embroiling Rush Limbaugh, doing so in his usual, measured, analytical style. During Monday’s news updates on Fox Business Network’s Imus In The Morning, host Don Imus went off on Rush Limbaugh‘s weekend apology to Sandra Fluke, calling Limbaugh a “fat, gutless, pill-popping loser.”Imus expressed anger...

Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz told BreitbartTV Editor Larry O'Connor on the Governor Paterson Show on WOR that the Media Matters organization is full of "radical Stalinists" and says the White House and Democratic Party need to clearly separate themselves from the organization. *snip* Speaking at University of Pennsylvania last week, well-known Israel supporter and Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz reportedly warned the press about MMFA's operations. "I have, and let me tell you, Max Blumenthal (((SON OF CLINTONISTA VIPER, SYDNEY BLUMENTHAL))) and Media Matters will be singlehandedly responsible for (Obama) losing this election," he is reported saying. The Democrats "cannot win...
