EXCERPT: Fred Imus, younger brother of WABC morning host Don Imus and a long-time songwriter and radio host himself, was found dead Saturday at his home in Tucson, Ariz. He was 69.
He was reportedly found in his trailer after he failed to show up for "Fred's Trailer Park Bash," a weekend show he cohosted with Don Collier and "Missy" on Sirius XM's Outlaw Country channel

I feel bad for Don Imus. I will see if he does his Fox Business show tomorrow, although I don't expect he will.

That’s a shame, I always like the weekend show he did on Sirius/XM’s “Outlaw Country”. Always a good blend of old-time country music with a good dose of country humor - not corny at all, like Hee-Haw used to be.

Poor old Fred, it was a good show, RIP...I know I’ll piss of a lot of people, but....Poor ol’ Don. He could tweak everyone and make everyone mad equally. I used to travel a lot and watch him while drying out from the shower in the morning. The Mayor Nagin interviews made me pee in my pants from hilarity. “Where’s my moms?”

Fred was a radio co-host in Tucson for a while. One day, he came in upset because someone had stolen a saddle out of the back of his pickup. Then his co-host made the mistake of saying "Or, maybe you shouldn't have left it out in the open like that."
He went ballistic, long string of cuss words on the air. I wonder how big the FCC fine was.

Prayers up for Fred. Don always gave him a hard time on the show but at the end of their segments he always told his brother that he loved him. He said it all.
